I felt like this drama was a beautiful puzzle that wasn't put together correctly. looking back, I was never frustrated or angry, I just watched it enjoying the ride. To me this drama was like that friend that messes up sometimes, but you forgive them because they're such a great person hahaha.
Tangqishi laughing after he told the emperor about Maha cracked me up so much. "you'll always be her second choice" HAHAHAHA "no! no! no!" lmao!!! He spat blood on the emerors face because he was laughing so hard hahaha. Evil til the end XD. If the emperor wasn't so childish that wouldn't even have bothered him and we wouldn't have a whole episode dedicated to his jealously, but it wouldn't be a drama if that happened would it? :P
I absolutely loved this drama up until Ki found out the former empress was as sick as she is. Then I think I just got bored of everyone trying to get rid of/kill her and failing over and over. I can't say i'm on the edge of my seat anymore. plus she has way too many people against her, and the emperor is crazy. I've waited since Tanasili took in Maha for Ki and Wang Yu to find out, and it didn't even feel worth it.
I'm still so confused with the connection between Saet Byul and Dong Chan's brother. I thought I had an understanding, but i'm lost again lol. Is it the president and that wrist guy? or is it because of the husband?
I don't get why suddenly its ok for Soo Hyun's mom to have abandon her as a child simply cos her new husband was…
I agree with you, but you have to remember not everyone is the same. Maybe she felt she would be nothing without him, and chose to keep her child away from the abuse because she wasn't strong enough to leave...or he could have been the type that wouldn't let her leave, so she saved her child. They didn't really go into detail. Even though this is a show this does happen, and there was many reasons why a woman would stay. I don't agree with her decision, but I'm not angry with her either.
That whole family is crazy, I'm sure of it now lol. You can say they love hard, but if someone told me more than once they don't want me, Id leave. I don't feel bad at all for brother or the sister. Really funny drama though. I'm enjoying it, flaws and all lol
Does anyone else feel dirty after watching this? I'm here plotting like the rest of them. wishing people dead..I need to watch something happy now lol the only people i'm rooting for is Tal Tal, Lady Ki and maybe Maha... I felt bad for Yon dying, but she knew exactly what the Empress was like. Also I still want Wang Yu and Seung Nyang to be together in the end. If that doesn't happen, I'll settle for Maha's big Koryo booty on the throne.

I don't know if you read my comment clearly, but I was talking about how fast and often she looses it. In any other drama or show, people would have thought she has gone crazy by now, she wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the case, her husband would have left her and Saet Byul would be scarred for life lol. I understand and sympathies with her just fine. My point is because she can't keep it together most times, she could end up ruining everything.
Also, as I mentioned I'm hooked. It's a minor annoyance.

The only thing that annoys me is how the mother keeps freaking out and telling people her kid is going to die. She's freaking Saet Byul out, and could possibly ruin every thing.
I really liked the Empress Dowager in the beginning. I thought her and Ki made a good team, but she's so foolish, and blinded by hate. What's the point of teaching a child how to hate a person? she's possibly creating a monster. And that gap of time that they just casually put in there lol like damn.
After reading a bit on the real people, i'm really curious how this is all going to end. Also! why in the hell weren't they more secretive with the damn treasure!! and WHY DID SHE OPEN IT?!! UGHH! Sometimes I purposely hold off on watching this drama and watch lighter ones like Cunning Single Lady and Emergency Couple. Not too much stress on the heart lol
OH MA GAH! how is it possible a drama with 50 episodes can keep you on the edge of your seat the whole ride. I just finished episode 41 and oh my heart!! I'm here yelling at the screen at 1:30am. Scaring my dog and everything hahaha Love me some Empress Ki!
The back and forth between good and evil was starting to bore me bit. I hated the fact that they openly tried to kill both Lady Ki AND the Emperor and NOTHING happened to them. The curse falling back on the Empress' father cracked me up though hahaha. I think they shook things up at the right moment. I can't wait for Seung Nyang to find out it's her son!! This drama is AUH-mazing.
