Thanks for the article, well done! I just started S1 and I'm on E3--- Opening Doors. I already picked my faves and fave couple even though they may not end up together. This is my first Japanese reality show and I'm enjoying the unscripted banter and the panel input, even the sarcasm. I'm glad they tell it like it is, especially about Ami, not a very likable housemate. I love Tsubasa and Yuudai! Discovering the personalities of each member is exciting and seeing how they interact with each other and who is attracted to who is so interesting. My Netflix has all the seasons except Boys × Girls Next Door (2012–2014).
Wow, this reads more like a dissertation than an article. You did a stellar job of explaining mysophobia and analyzing the drama in terms of it. I can tell how therapeutic this was for you to watch and then write an article about. No, I didn't watch it, I found it, started the first episode and right away this question comes to mind: I see he's using a hankie to open his car door..but then why would he not use it to push the button to turn on the car? Isn't it still touching a possibly dirty surface? What's the difference? I'm curious to know if this was a drama hole/oversight, or if this is the case with those suffering from mysophobia. The scene where Lee El/Yoo Young tells Son Seok Koo/Jang Hyun to *F* off made me cheer and sit up and squeal. So powerful and emotional. The way she worked up to that point is so demonstrative of so many people's lives and chaotic relationships, I just loved it. Watch it, you won't be disappointed, there's enough comic relief to ease the sadness and chaos.
Just started this last night, I hate to say it, but I love Nanno! Very addicting, who doesn't love a Thai drama with a dash of The Twilight Zone and a main character who you hate to love, she's a nut, lol and I love it. Each episode is 30-45 minutes long, easy to watch and can be watched on it's own like a mini story.
Just watched this and loved it, was never a dull moment. My first time watching ML Kang Ha Neul. He did a stellar job with his character. I was particularly pleased with the makeup to age him as he is only 28 (born Feb 1990). The lighting and camera angles and music were so well done that the only thing that I missed was a romance..LOL.(not really..but you know how dramas/movies go.) I love thought provoking movies and this did it for me. Although some of it bordered on the unbelievable, I *suppose* this could happen...so much is unknown about the human mind. Jin Suk led a tragic life after his family's accident...goodness knows how we'd cope, so not only didn't I judge him, I felt so sorry for him as well as "Yoo Suk". Now I'm going to be thinking about amnesia, dissociative disorder and fugue states. Gosh, what an ending....
