Who's the mastermind for LJL's 2nd assassination attempt? The scene which was before Shan Bao revealed his real identity.
My thoughts were: 1. Lady Shan Bao - brainwashing Jiang Lai by pointing Magistrate Lang as the mastermind so he won't get close to him or to keep Jiang Lai safe.
2. Xu Song and Gov Jiang - maybe they already knew about Lu Fusheng
3. Jiang Lai himself (maybe schemed with Lang Zhusheng) - Just like Shan Bao, maybe he planned it to make it look like Zhusheng was the mastermind so that Lady Shan Bao won't be suspicious of him after interacting with Zhusheng during his interrogation.
According to the chart, he has a Childhood Sweetheart (character's name: Xu Mei Ying). Will be shown in the future episodes. But don't know if they are engaged or in an arranged marriage.
Got friendzoned, then wanted to h**k up w/ him during her wedding night? Bruhhh 😅. Fortunately, he didn't fell for it.
But, have you noticed no one raised an eyebrow when Fusheng admitted that it was him and Lang Da Ren said "You're Lady Shanbao's lover?" That would cause a scandal especially when you are bethroted to someone else and could be used against her by her scheming sisters.
Btw, I have 2 questions. 1. Do men who look like Ming Hao are just average looking in historical/ancient China? (Based on Lady Yunyin's comment towards Fusheng in Episode 6)
2. Who's Rong Yunzhen? If she's one of the sisters, why hasn't she shown up? I only see Lady Yun'e and Lady Yunwan
After seeing LFS/LJL's frustration of not choosing him by Shan Bao at Ep 10, I have a hunch that he actually has no affection or pretends to have an affection for her. He just wants to be close to her so he can know his real identity. And in the future episodes, he has a childhood sweetheart. But who knows, maybe he has affection for her after all, but his memory and real identify are his priority.
Also, what if he regains his memory back and doesn't recognize Shan Bao or remembers nothing during his stay at Rong Mansion?
