I know Joker's brother just means well by saying their father misses his second son. But honestly I still hate his dad. He's the one who abandoned his son and always said hurtful things to him, like I don't care if he really loves his son or not. His way of being too prideful and not trying to understand his son is pissing me off.

Tbh I'll be mad at my boyfriend too if he was in a son and father relationship with my own abusive father.
Dohoe broke off the connection to Juyeong before Juyeong even had this son and father relationship with Dohoe's father. At the time Dohoe messed up his first exam, Juyeong was, after the beating up scene with Dohoe's father in the early morning, taken away by his mother. In the car Juyeong tries to call Dohoe but the calls don't get through. Then when they were able to talk on the phone Dohoe says he will call Juyeong again after he successfully has taken the re-exam. But Dohoe never called Juyeong again, even though as we now know passed the exam the second time around.
It seems like after Juyeong wasn't able to stay in contact with Dohoe he stayed in contact with his father. Was it a great idea? Hell no! But my guess is it was the only thing Juyeong could think of to get some news about Dohoe.
- Just my opinion- My thoughts about the reason why Dohoe broke off the connection to Juyeong was because he thought Juyeong would be with his mother again, since he was taken away and he wanted Juyeong to have no connection with his abusive father. The second reason why he cut with EVERYONE contact, must have been because he could be finally free from this hell of a little village. I would say Dohoe got mad, when he found out Juyeong stayed in contact with his father. But that, in my opinion, played a role later when he already broke off the connection with Juyeong.
Can't wait to see in the next episode to know how exactly everything went down.
