I've only ever subbed two videos (on YT) out of boredom, and it truly is a time consuming/patients wearing process!! I definitely wanted to give up at some point both times, questioning why I even started @_@
I've always gotten a little irritated at comments demanding subs--it is out of the kindness of people's heart that they are dedicating their time and brain cells to creating subs. Most people aren't getting paid either. Subbers are truly the unsung heroes (as you said)!!! I hope more people consider this before getting irritated next time--or even consider taking up contributing to subbing themselves after reading this :D!!

PS. (fellow drama watchers) You can also always choose to just learn the language yourself that way you can watch things without subs!

Also as someone who has fallen in love enough w/ this story to look up the few parts of the novel that have been translated into English, I have to say--while I am happy with the ending being close to that of the novel's.......WHY????!!! Why start off following the novel, JUMP SHIP, and then get pulled back up by a life preserver/lifebuoy at the last second?????? Why not just ride the boat the whole time? Follow the novel's narration from start to finish w/out excessive alterations [of course the time-travel would have to be changed--which i thought it was quite well done] D:

Although there are several possibilities and analysis/theories, I really don't think the connection between the two parts can be confirmed to be amnesia. However, by having amnesia stated it in the description above (which of course was sourced from other websites--no one should be blamed) it is making a lot people assume and get confused.
[the only reason I'm not changing it myself is because I've only watched to the end w/out subs and my Chinese is almost none-existent so I don't want to incorrectly edit it either. If someone who does understand can edit it, that would be much appreciated!--even leaving that part out all together as to allow the viewer to make their own conclusion would better at this point]

From what I've managed to read of the translated cnovel there is definitely more of a wholistic storyline and a lot of what was altered/added for the drama is also sadly what everyone seems to dislike about the drama.... Here to hoping someone will pick up translating it to the end!!!
If some company/someone takes up officially translating the novel this is based off of into English, I would totally pay to buy it!!!!! While I'm in love with the drama (and yes, I am among the many who prefer the 1-16 arc more than 17+, but HEY it's a journey! I'm in it for the long run at this point), I kind of really really really want to know how the original story goes too.
In ep 18 but they don't recognize each other due to amnesia. It is intersting, they are rediscovering themselves.
I personally want to say she is relatively the same, but they are in a different situation so....it's kind of hard to say. Also, from what I've seen, it's not amnesia but rather the start of a new story all together
not to be off putting/rude, but REALLY?!! I read the manga ages ago (not sure I finished it), but why make this into a live action of all things? Why not so many other, more 'realistically' set shojo manga?
one question for Xue Shan Shan's makeup & wardrobe artist: WHY????????!!!!!!! I get me watching this now in 2018 of course affects my perspective a bit...but I really can't with her make-up. The eyebrows, blush, lip gloss, eyeliner--I don't think I've ever been so bothered/distracted so much before. And it's not like the other characters had this issue.
That's why I can't watch this I love this triangle so much they all my babes and their acting is so good always…
