is there anywhere besides Youtube that you (or anyone) watches the Chinese version of Running Man with English subs? I've watched a good portion of season 1, but the subs are deteriorating in quality and I just can't get myself to finish whole episodes in one sitting anymore knowing all the brain power I need to put in. PLEASE someone say they know of another site/link!!!~
THANK YOU for praising their ability to work with older actors rather than bashing the production crews' choices in casting (which seems to be happening a lot lately)!! It really does speak to their abilities as actors and to the art-form :)
After see this list of 'starter' j-actors/actresses, oh my goodness!! it just makes me think of ALL the other j-actors/actresses that I wish I could add on. There are just so many~ (I even started to list them out here in my comment until I realized there are just too many and I would just hate to miss any so I wont). But, YES to j-dramas (especially since this year's summer season is just kicking off) and to the evolution it has made over the years <3

PS. for those that might be looking, if you search through 'top actors' here on MDL & restrict the search to 'Japanese' you will be able to find a good number of other actors/actresses that might be worth checking out {though of course, the list is based more so on popularity than acting frequency/style/skill/etc. but a good portion of them are 'starter' actors/actresses, so check it out)

I totally agree!! I'm not the biggest fan of either LD.K or Itazurana Kiss and I find this show incredibly amusing/entertaining/hilarious!! (& I'm on ep 15) But I can say that a big reason why I like this so much is b/c of the characters--the humor is definitely my style
I am SUCH a fan of her acting in Good Morning Call!! <3 even though the drama is a live-action shojo adaptation, i feel like her acting is not generic at all.
Have all the people who are talking about Kim Sae Ron's acting/age seen her movies?? I wont speak for her dramas because I've only seen 1, but this girl DESERVES all the awards she has won! I'm excited for this BECAUSE it is Kim Sae Ron and Yoon Shi Yoon (and several of the other actors). The released teaser is also REALLY good! An actor is an actor, regardless of age.

I have actually dropped or put on-hold some of these just because I couldn't stand the male leads/ how the female leads just took it all. Of course this is dramaland and anything is possible, but I can seriously only say "WOW o_o!"
I love this drama! I've been watching from the beginning and I still can't wait for the next episodes each week. I wont say it had the strongest start, and some of the acting which people have commented about isn't the easiest to watch. But I feel like as I am watching this show, I am watching them improve and I am getting to enjoy the purity/simplicity of it all. Also, the OST for this show is a MUST!!--very befitting of the show's genre
