Yes! First episode hit it on. Even thr cinematic view alike to a movie in tje first episode. The way they set up the fighting scenes. It was really awesome. I guess they need to clean their eyes to see the real value of the first episode. XD

Even under less budget than they expected, they still managed to shoot everything on par to dramas with higher budgets. Ep 1 was nerve wracking and hooked me on the spot. As people say, first impression is important. They did it!
Even GJ,ZZH told us their backstory. With less income, not so popular, I'm now smitten with them. All other actors are extremely awesome too! ZY, SXL, MWY, and everyone did their best in this drama. I wish greater success to all actors and actresses, include production team, scriptwriter (kudos to her as this is her first work, her debut!), director, producer, all the crews, and especially their investor. •́ ‿ ,•̀

For your info, it wasn't a bonus episode, but a continuation from ep 36. They have to cut it off, or else they couldn't air the show at all due to China's censorship rules (BL cannot have HE). The production team risked everything. Actors, staffs, everyone.

True! Not cherishing what they have at the moment. Everyone can voice out their opinions, but they should place themselves in the scripwriter's shoes, what they felt, how they had to arrange the plots and so on. It was not an easy feat.
The scriptwriter already did her best. Adapting from novel to a tv show in the original sense itself is pretty hard especially in China. I know you have your own opinion, but let's just be grateful on what we have rather than having none at all.
