My opinion is the same for most remakes where the original had special emotions attached to it because of a unique element, not just because the story was good. I'm not against remaking any drama or movie, but if you're going to recreate something, it should be good in its own way which is not the case here. This drama was solely based on that particular special soundtrack, because of that song, the whole drama turned into something truly unique. There are so many time traveling dramas out there.
I don't see the necessity in making a remake when most viewers have already watched it. There were so many factors that made that drama special, it's impossible to recreate something like that when there are so many interconnected elements, like the soundtrack, which made the original drama special.
I just started watching not even a minute into the 1st episode and it's already feeling off like I got it from the trailer. It seems like everything is a setup, like everything looks so made up I never felt like this before from any other drama like you made a set and put actors in that set asked them to act. There are no special emotions or charm in this, it looks like a knockoff of the original, unlike the 'Soulmate' remake, which I didn't compare to its original, because it had its own charm. It's not even like a regular K-drama. I can't figure out what the problem is here the casting, the acting, or the direction IDK maybe everything.

I have never hated any character like Risa. How can any girl be this naive to let any guy kiss and do whatever they want to do with her when she has a boyfriend?
Love the way they didn't only focused on ml & sl story but also they have episodes for other characters too. Also nao helping her classmates to develop their character.
This is one of the most perfect J-dramas from the beginning to the end. Everything was just so perfect, the actors did a great job portraying idol characters, which is really different from other roles as they have to dance and sing. The pacing was really good, it didn't feel rushed or slowed down. The songs were really addicting, and I'm really impressed by Fumiya Takahashi. Even though he's really young, his acting is so natural, and he's so skilled at portraying perfect expressions with the right emotions. Love the way Asuka supported 8loom even though she was going through so much.
