Yeah there’s gripes about every drama but if they keep me entertained I’ll watch.
I also just watched The Promise which I found on YouTube It has this ML in a different kind of role.
He just did Apple of My Eye more of a family drama and The Brave Yong Su Jeong a tame revenge plot.
The FL just did Su Ji & U Ri (family daily)

Temptation of Wife is one I completed recently. It’s older so has an issues not tolerated with current social norms but what a wild ride.

All her reactions are just so OVER THE TOP like she’s had a psychotic meltdown. Not everyone would react like this but many would sympathize.

I foresee jealous backstabbing happening because she’s been in love with the Doctor, a perfect man compared to her asshat husband.

Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that she doesn’t know he’s her son? Maybe this is one of those tropes where the chairman told her her child died, sent her away and passed the infant off to his wife and everyone as his? So even she was fooled but now with the revelation by the wife she has a gut notion stirring.

I’m old and it’s been decades since I last watched one but for the times yeah it was a lot like this so I can only imagine how it is these days.
But, I don’t think they’re fast paced even today because American TV is all about keeping the show going and going and going.
The Korean dailies have a finite number of episodes and an endgame with that in mind.

Intent- that’s the trouble with written word. Something innocuous to one could be obnoxious to another.
