I think it's safe to assume the mom was impregnated around the time the dad first came back (before the first murder, obviously). In the scenario where they go back and fix everything, she just wouldn't have noticed she was actually pregnant until after Dad was caught. I don't believe dad started killing people immediately after he arrived so there was time.

You may be on to something there. It's like a reverse Kdrama where the tie-in between the FL and ML is in the future and not the past. There might be more to ML not wanting to be a 'stranger' to FL. Maybe he's holding on to an even bigger secret than what was just revealed in Ep8. The suspense is killing me LOL.

Ok, it has both a sad and happy ending. Ji Eun Tak (FL) dies in the last episode (sad part), but is reincarnated 50 years later as essentially herself again in the last 5 minutes of the show and meets Kim Shin again (happy ending). Hope this helps.

TLDR, Woo Seo Ri is the FL who wakes from the coma. It was her best friend No Soo Mi who dies in the accident at the beginning. ML thinks No Soo Mi was the girl he liked at 17 when it was really Woo Seo Ri. Long explanation follows below:
The FL is Woo Seo Ri. The girl that died in the accident is No Soo Mi (Woo Seo Ri's best friend). When the ML was 17 he saw Woo Seo Ri on the bridge doing that rabbit gesture to the moon. If you recall, in the first episode, Woo Seo Ri tells No Soo Mi that she sometimes forgets and takes No Soo Mi's gym clothes instead of her own (she's kind of a space cadet). Anyways, because Woo Seo Ri is wearing No Soo Mi's gym clothes on the bridge when she is doing the rabbit gesture, ML thinks that she is actually No Soo Mi. In another flashback he recalls a girl calling out No Soo Mi's name while looking at the 17 yr-old FL. He doesn't realize that the girl calling out No Soo Mi's name is actually referring to the girl that is right next to FL (i.e. the real No Soo Mi). The 17-yr old ML simply assumes that 17-yr old FL is No Soo Mi because of these incidents. When it's discovered that No Soo Mi dies in the accident, ML thinks he's responsible for it because he thinks she's the girl he liked.
