I am really into Japan, with my heart I think. Japan is in the center of all my life <3
Well, I am 14 years old, but I feel like 18 or something :D I think I am more mature than people in my age..

When you´re not so bored with reading my superlong texts I may say many more things (heh).
I LOVVVVVVVEEEEEEE Miura Haruma, he is so talented, cool, natural and he´s smile is the best :D
I have watched the first episode of that drama, a while ago. I consider it as a good drama, so I´ll definitely watch it to the end some day, not sure when. That time I watched the 1st, but didn´t watch more because I hadn´t that kind of mood to watch or so :D
But now I´m watching Bloody Monday, that´s a cool drama. And I am watching Sprout - a brand new drama, recently finished airing in Japan. Beofre I watched Rich Man Poor Woman which was new too :)

Sorry.. I talk too much XD It´s really a lot to say!
Well.. the opening day of the singing festival we have parade or march (not actually that), when all the choirs walk a 7 km and arrive at the stage. It´s filmed and it can be seen at the television, the last time we stopped in front of the camera and for quite a bit I was waving there so some people I know had seen me from the TV ;)
Then we arrive, sing, rest, eat, sing, rest, sing, rest, eat, play etc.. Hahha, I usually, when i have free time during the breaks go to the crowd and meet my family, relatives, talk and have fun :)
It´s really so good event, one of my favourites ;))
Sorry about all the text, I am not sure if you could understand properly, but yeah.. It´s some parts of the festival ;)

That was in the April 1-2 2010, I remember.
And usually the singing festival is the 1-3th July (not only one day), there we wear traditional Estonian clothes and sing Estonian songs (we have many songs dedicated for Estonia, cause some time ago Estonians had so hard time fighting for its freedom) It´s time full of memories.
Before the festival 1-2 days we gather in the capital (all choirs that participate), cause it´s summer, people don´t go to schools and choirs can stay at schools (again XD), we eat there, keep our bags there etc.. And then for about 1-2 days we practice all the songs under the stage (as you can see when watching the video). There is always so hot and summer-like that time, the surrounding area of the stage is huge. We stay there when don´t have to sing..
The surrounding area is always filled with sallingmen and we can buy various things :)

Yeah, it´s a tradition that´s why everybody is gathered there. and it´s something must-go for Estonians too, the people that are on a trip in Estonia usually go too. It´s a main thing in summer, everybody knows about it, 1/5 of all Estonians participate. I was singing with my school choir, we go everytime. But it´s a memorable festival.
When I have participated (2 grade, 4th grade, 6th grade and the next one is when I am in the 9th grade) it has been too fun. We learn the songs by heart (about 15 songs) throughout the school-year, definitely have some kind of camps before the festival, we had a "singing camp" the last time. We sang about 10 hours one day, there were lots of breaks too. We took a bus (our choir), stayed at a school, not only our school choir but about 4 other schools too. We sang most of the time, but we had various fun things too (of course lunch breaks), discos ;)

Oh really, my name is Loviisa and my first name isn´t common here too. It´s common in Sweden maybe, but my mother liked that name so much that gave me that name. I know a few people with the same name though..
But yeah, I have tests every week, in the hardest times there are test every day and sometimes more than 1. I had this kind of week recently - about 10 tests. I´d be nice to have this kind of exam-oriented system. It´s so tiring in schools, cause I have my own hobbies too and a lot of homework. From September I have had only 1 - 2 days without homework.
The school starts at 8 am and it´s usually till 3-4 pm (7 or 8 classes), I am also part of our school´s student council, it takes some extra time and effort. And I usually have some competitions in some subjects in the school-year. From Monday till Friday it´s tough, I am always in a hurry, from 8 till 6-8 is my ordinary day.
And the "Kagi kakatta heya", me´s gonna watch the drama soon XD The music is promosing!

1) I am a really cheerful person :D
2) Meigi is a Malaysian and learns in a university in my town, learn Japanese at the university :)
2) That´s cool! You´d definitely like here. For university people, they have holidays 2 months in the summer. From July to the end of the August, still nice!
3) Haha, it´s not like a brain freeze (hahahha), you´ll just grow AMAZINGLY tired of school. It actually really takes this amount of time to become well-rested before the new school-year. It´s always stressful and we have too much tests. Nobody likes school cause of that (Estonians are on of the unhappy pupils, but the university in different).
The summer holidays are truly THE BEST, everybody lives for the summer here!
4) You should come and see! it´s so cool, I don´t have words to describe! But here´s a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmmUOpLQnLs
it was last year, I was sining ;)

Also..it takes TOO much time to melt. Probably all the snow melts about 1,5 - 2 months. After that the temperature slowly raises. When it´s Summer, (mostly Estonians favourite season) it´s up to 30 degrees. Never more. Usually it´s 20-25. The sky is blue!! When the Autumn strikes, the pupils are in a bad mood, nobody wants school (I mean, the summer vacation here is the best. We hardly have any vacations (all in all 5 weeks from September to May) and when the summer starts, we have 3 months of holidays here :) SO... nobody likes autumn after that, no warmth, everything turns into coldness etc...BUT I actually love to live here :)
What else. Estonians are fond of music. We have singing festivals with 20 000~ singers (choirs) and the listeners (200 000) and it´s wonderful. It´s a tradition since 1869. Well.. you just gotta see.
BUT there are only 1 000 000 Estonians all in all.

Yeah, I´ll definitely video blog and share my experience. I´d be best if I just leave my blog to read ;)
Oh well, sorry about that XD The food, yeah (yumyum). Actually now, in the university together with me (at first, but now I changed my group) learned a Malaysian. Meigi, so beautiful name!!! I´d like to try Malaysian food!!!! ?
Estonia is a quiet, small and cozy place to visit. We have 4 seasons. In the Winter it may be up to -30, usually it´s like -15, we have snow (A LOT!!), then in the Spring it´s always so bad weather cause all the snow melts and it´s so wet and yucky...

The actress who I can´t stand is actually Horikita Maki. And I actually couldn´t stand the fact that she was a boy there (hahhaha), btu I remember taht I watched about half of the drama, I couldn´t stand more.
