Love your review! The things you mentioned were also my thoughts. I just finished it and I was glad I was through it. I watched other adaptations too, so I knew their romance was a bumpy ride. But this one was REALLY frustrating. 2 Minutes of happiness against 2 hours of sadness, depression and frustration. LET ME BREATH for a moment. I liked the first half as you mentioned too. But the second one was a fight to get through. And the fact that he tied his shoes in the end made me so damn angry. Like: AT LEAST give me something in the end to overshadow all the terrible things that just happened. Anyway. Great Review. :)

Now, I really liked the drama but I just couldn't enjoy it anymore after some time. It got so depressing. I mean I knew what to expect because I know other adaptations. But it was so frustrating and sad how we got like 2 happy minutes and then the drama came right back. At least let me breath in between. In the end I was glad it was over. I need to be able to smile sometimes while watching a drama. But with this I was seriously stressed out most of the time. The little moments didn't do enough for me. But that's just my opinion. But I really appreciated the male lead. I knew him from 2gether and didn't like his acting there. But he was perfect here. I loved him and he definitely made me watch the drama until the end. <3
Okay....I still like it but the product placement is serously making me angry. Normally I don't mind but they are inserting product placements in EMOTIONAL scenes...in KEY scenes??? Wtf?? O.o
Okey....WOW WOW WOW! I'm only on episode 5 but I watched other versions of this drama already. And this one...this one I absolutely adore! How they follow the overall plot but change some things escpecially regarding our ML and his reactions is fantastic!! Everyone who's not sure if this version is worth your time. It absolutely is! I watched it around 5 years ago. Normally I forget plots and endings of a drama within weeks because I watch that many dramas. But this one...I could never. The music "prisoner of love" is still burnt into my head.

It doesn't have to contain a big make out scene. I only need two things in BLs...or the romance genre in general. One is chemistry and the other is believable love. If they can show it without a good kiss, that's fine. But sometimes it's just awkward. xD
Well...I wouldn't say loads of them. But yes, the biggest problem is definitely the quality. I'm honestly shocked (in a positive way) about all the good BLs coming out in the past 2-3 years. I'm still not up to date with all of them. And another thing is of course the problematic content. I'm definitely more forgiving in fiction then in real live but there are certain lines I don't wanna see crossed either. How much I love the fact that consent is getting more and more important in these Dramas.. :3 Anyway: I'm addicted. I'm watching so many dramas in a short amount of time at the moment because of my vacation-time. 🤣

Then you will love it! The plot isn't that strong to be honest (bus I wasn't bored) but these two are like the cutest and healthiest BL-couple I've ever seen 😭❤️. And regarding F4. I watched other versions already, so I know the story more or less. And the funny thing is that the ML and one of the sidecasts are the two leads from 2gether 🤣🤣. I didn't like the ML from F4 in 2gether (didn't like the series in general) but he's good in this one. I'm on episode 6. :) I'll probably finish it tomorrow. It's already 3am here. I think I even have it on my list! I'm watching F4 Thailand: Boys over flowers at the moment. After this one I'm definitely gonna watch Tale of a 1000 stars next. I always appreciate some good recommendations. And if you like non-toxic, healthy relationships where the leads communicate Bad Buddy is definitely for you 🤗

This series wasn't what I expected but I loved it! The romance was nicely done but in the end it was the social change aspect which was moving me to tears. The series wasn't perfect but I can definitely recommend it!
both are very different series. If you are looking for romance, this series has only 5% romance.

wow...I don't think I've ever seen SO much product placement in ANY drama across any country as much as this so…
I just watched Bad Buddy....and the first thing I commented on in after finishing was the product placement: drinks, inhaler, printer and make-up remover. It was hilarious after a while xD
It's 4 am and I just finished Bad Buddy. And this one is next (tomorrow though xD). After Bad Buddy my expectations are high for this one. <.> I hope it's a good fit :3
I just finished the show and wow! This show is a 10 out of 10 even though there are some minor flaws. This relationship was just healthy and beautiful. No unnecessary conflict, great communication and trust. :3 They didn't use the BL-tropes but reinvented them. I just loved it! <3 Thank you for this gem.

Like, I swear one more episode of this and I would have run to the next store to buy a new canon printer...before using my inhaler and drinking this energizing beverage. And after that I would have removed my makeup....which I don't even wear. xD It was hilarious.
