Mark can feel pain and love cause the drank the golden blood in episode 1, so he fell in love with Tong and now he want more and more 😏. Also Thara knows cause he keep eating golden blood people every few year to stay stronger and rul the vamp world, and yes when they turn 21 the power of the golden blood is complete and the vampire who eat it is like really strong and can kill vampires too, so that's why Thara is in charge. i hope this helps you 😉
