Try Rookie Agent Rouge it has the same feel ( meaning historical at the time of japanese opression, and the actors are amazing) (only if you search for something similiar to the time period ( or so)

Uh and idk if that would be too much of a spoiler since it happens pretty early , the ex boyfriend of the lead actress passes away, I cried a bunch, since he was a great person, the drama is really good, just that it’s sad 80% of the time since it’s in the terminally ill taking care of place. (But each and every character and story is precious and beautiful
