A poetry in motion.........
I haven't read the book, yet this drama clearly indicates that if you pick a good book and follow it to it's minute details, you end up with a classic drama. As compared to the screenplays that are hashing out clichéd crap just to meet deadlines and make a quick buck,This drama takes the c industry to the next level. It's absolute poetry, smooth, delicate, yet hard core feminist.
Sometimes feminist dramas trample on males, but here it is a sheer sense of admiration and respect for the ML.
And add to that the sizzling chemistry, heart fluttering relationship, beautiful landscapes, wonderful supporting cast.......
This drama is a gem.......
I had stopped watching c dramas because it was embarrassing to watch female leads speak like a baby, act like a teenager and wear crotch revealing outfits.
But wow.....the last 4-5 c dramas have beaten the so-called popular k dramas of 2023-24.
Way to go.......congratulations to the full team!!

The most unromantic romance
This story had a promising beginning, some interesting and different side streams and could have ended up with an 8 or even 9 star.But Alas......
I think the script writer was trying to convince us that love is really blind.......that despite not being able to recognize faces, it's the inner soul that eventually wins the long lost love race.
And in thus trying to make the FL s soul shine, the script writer forgot to clean up the exterior - and viola we now have a scruffy looking FL who looks like she kept awake all night in her college dorm, trying to cram for an exam, then woke up the next morning, didn't brush her teeth, shower or comb her hair, wore mismatched socks under ill fitting pants and ran to the exam hall.
And on the flip side we have a ML who just steps out of a GQmagazine, looks dreamy enough to have a million weeping females, dresses impeccably - almost like he's going to step on the fashion runway.........
And now we have to watch 16 hours of how these two totally miscast characters find everlasting love!

Soap opera for those peeking into middle aged family stories
This started off on a thumping note on romance and time travel.Then the drudgery of filling 24 episodes sets in and the story drags you into the depths of marital woes of the families.
Its not interesting, too detailed on the minute relationship especially of the FL's parents. Makes you squirm because it almost feels like reality of every family around you.
It had hope.......and that dwindled fast.
Some missing gaps, not enough chemistry nor heartburn.
tear jerker for no reason.
There were other couples who could have gotten more screen time.
Not sure if the FL s mother is a big star or something but she got a lot of show time and every time she came on screen, I hit the forward button.
Just to much screaming and shouting and mundane nonsense.

Zero star for the depressing female lead
I watched 5 episodes in bits and pieces for 2 years - and then completed the rest quickly.How?
By forwarding every scene with the depressing female lead who has about two sorry expressions throughout and just drags the drama and every other character down with her.
So why not just dump the drama?
Because of all the stellar supporting cast and their interesting melodramas.
The poor ML.- of course his looks are off the charts, but he is so mismatched with the FL that even his noona's have more chemistry with him.
The storyline had some intriguing scenes - all well played by all the other actors.
But sadly too much emphasis on an ill-fitting female lead made this drama disappointing.

Feel good, feel great
Personally if I spend 12-16 hours watching k dramas, this is how I want to feel at the end of it.Feel good, feel great, feel happy that everything is right with the world.
Now if I wanted to see reality, misery and sad endings, I would watch real life documentaries because life is stranger than fiction.
So thank you for taking us on a detailed tourist ride of France - it was spectacular.
Nice personal stories, clichéd and some over the top,but hey, put all together it worked !

So mediocre
The rating is 5 because this is just an average drama. Nothing great, nothing to hate.Could it have been stellar? Yes because many people would appreciate sharing tragedies of their own break up and listening to others' stories as well.
FL : 10 stars
This drama is named after her and she delivers. There are some really idiotic scenes - but it looks like the script writer and director demanded it - and she pulled through them. Her eyes are very expressive and I also liked how she gestures with her hands. Nicely dressed and decent make up.
ML : 8 stars
cute but with little to do. He had a very odd role, not nicely defined. Their chemistry was okay but alas - barely any sizzling scenes. Nothing to make your heart stop and flutter.
3 other love stories / couples: 1 star
These were the most irritating part of the drama. The sister was a pain, shrieking little horror. Annoying love story.
The married friend was good, however their romance was one sided, and just went around in circles.
The ceo with the intern was the worst!! Seriously.....we could have done without that couple....... Just edit them off!
Basically I would not have wasted time on this drama, albeit being a romance junkie.

Not even mediocre
My apologies for rating this 1, but there was no redeeming factor in this drama.Personally I find taiwanese dramas finer made than Chinese and was really looking forward to seeing the ML again after True Romance.
But this drama takes you on a spin which is boring, mediocre, with barely any romance and lower than zero chemistry.
I only watch romance genre and even through that only prefer romcoms.
So bearing in mind that this review only compares with other dramas in this genre, and after having worthlessly wasted hours on this nonsense, please forgive me T drama team for scaling this drama down.

Are these toxic fans for real in this country?
This is not the first drama where toxic fans are highlighted. Even in Her Private Life and a couple of other dramas, the toxicity of fans is clearly shown.As a foreigner who just loves k dramas, it is very disturbing for me to digest and believe this.
Do these toxic fans not have a life of their own?
Why does the entertainment industry and the government allow them to destroy lives like this?
Can there be severe punishment for threatening and spreading falsity?
Why don't they make dramas or documentaries revealing this sickness because it truly is an obsessive disorder.
The k entertainers work and train so hard, give up their privacy, live a tough life albeit with wealth.
We have to let them live and breathe..
What right does a toxic fan have to mess around with their lives?
It's akin to murder - of their soul!
Please k drama producers and directors - create awareness that this is not acceptable.
Even when a negative review is posted on this website,the toxic fans respond with sharp claws.
Jeeeez......get a life of your own!!

High school and all that.....
This is a very clichéd, predictable, teenage high school drama.I watched it only for Vivian Sung - she is such a top notch actor.
There were also some really funny scenes making me laugh out loud.
They were unpredictable and very well placed. Superb comic timing.
Please MDL - take off the 500 word limit on reviews.
There are times I only wish to say a few words and most times, I don't read other reviews that are too long.

The first j-drama that gets a 10
What a beautiful romantic drama. Great music, lovely story, very visually appealing cinematography.The star was of course the young protagonist 👏👏. He brought the story alive with his youthful grin, mischief, and love at first sight. This drama totally blew me away only because of his happy chirpy face!,
Every other performer was also wonderful.
Also great to see a happy family after a long time. Most Asian dramas have their stars from orphanages or have nagging mothers who want them to get married or rich parents who are mean to their kids. This was soooooo refreshing to see kind loving parents.
Great job here, the full team!! Nicely done 💕💕💖🤍

Oh my goodness.....spare yourself some time to breathe and exercise - just skip this downright boring, irritating, annoying, silly, childish drama.I promise you I try to be very very fair with c- dramas, give them full benefit of the doubt, allow for a lot of nonsense. But most of the c dramas go beyond these limitations.
They are either over dressed or under dressed, women acting like 12-year olds, dressed like them also.
No chemistry. Yes there are intimate scenes but they are lifeless.
The story just drags on....that is if you can even call them stories or just a mish mash of clichéd crap.
The FL is so mediocre......aaargh......

So refreshing
I was so skeptical about watching another teen drama with mean girls, tiny skirts and rich hunks. It's tiring that there are infinite number of those.However this turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. Candid, cute, refreshing.
Story one and three especially are so refreshing. Feels good to know that there are smart sensible teenagers even in the cruel world of selfish high schoolers.
And of course story two - what a heart throb that kid Rowoon or however he spells his name- is. The FL is also not bad in that story. Very cute first love story.
Clean production, great music, smartly made - very sharp and appealing drama.

Just the perfect drama
This is truly a cult classic. The story is intricately woven, scenes are detailed, laugh loud funny, every character is special and acts beautifully and yes - the steamy kisses are dreamy.The details of the sound engineer's job are intricately defined. The office staff despite their small roles are given juicy tidbits and they stand out.
The only extra character that could have been deleted is the mother of the male lead. The mother of the female lead was also given to much unwanted screen time. Gosh - can you let your adult children breathe??
The second couples story is very unique and their acting especially the SML is phenomenal. He really contributes to the overall beauty of this drama. The SFL is also very unique and is wonderful.

Just so much fun
There’s nothing that particularly stands out in this movie, yet it keeps a constant grin on your face…..and seriously we are in the end of May 2025 and there’s been a bunch of real tepid Asian dramas this year.Imagine desperately searching for something worthwhile to watch - and this movie from 10 years ago, with all its teenage hormonal sexuality , and 3 heartthrobs in their early days lights up your screen ……… oasis!!!!!
The lead actors were great but the supporting cast stole the show.
The director, the parents of WooBin, the chinese restaurant owners…..spot on comic timing!!!
Be warned there are a lot of sexual innuendos….but such a great movie about 20 year olds.

Good romcom material that got lost in the mines........
This drama had such a great premise to be a top romcom but alas Alas.........Great leads, different story, but becomes mundane and boring.
Such a poor ending....
The cast was all great, nice decent outfits.
The most irritating was the MLs sister. The typical baby behaving adult with crotch revealing skirts and a big black bow on the back of her head!
It almost feels like the screenplay writer got tired of the drama and quit and the others were left to make a mish mash of the leftovers.
