I personally love this drama. It's really funny (although I suppose the humor in this drama isn't for everyone) and I found it very interesting and fun how it presents cultivation in a more video-game style. It's also got top tier bro moments. You should definitely give it a try!

If you search "spirit blade mountain manhua" a ton of manga sites pop up and you can read to 458 from them (although I highly suggest using an adblocker), and from then on you can go to a channel called Kimigaya on youtube who subs it up to 600 something. I have yet to find someone who subs it beyond that lol

while I haven't read the original novel I've seen the anime and read 460 chapters of the manhua. The original story goes a different way with Hai Yunfan joining the Thousand Methods sect (which I think was the Wanfa sect)

The comic is called spirit blade mountain (when you search spirit blade mountain man hua a bunch of results will come up) and I think the novel has a similar name to the drama, once upon a time there was a spirit sword mountain
