I'm gonna try and watch this, but I know I am horrible with understanding historical dramas from China, well from anywhere. My attention span makes it hard to remember certain things of importance.

That's true about the 5 years. At that point, I can understand even more why Sib would just quit. That is why I don't get involved in these ships. They are actors. Singto has managed to go from the toxicity of being shipped with one person. However, I feel like these companies make it harder to keep these fans in reality. I see it now with all of these phantom relationships that they think seem to be happening.

Also, I am pretty sure a lot of the message from this show is going over peoples heads as I have seen on twitter with people already thinking Up and Kao having something going on.

Sib made some really good points. They are still getting to know each other. So I honestly don't think Gene understands that Sib wasn't ever going to continue being an actor.

I agree with all of your points. Honestly, I thought this was a well done episode. It was fluffy with an dark cloud. I could tell thanks to how they did some of the lighting. Honestly, it was just well done. My favorite scene was the last scene with Gene on the floor. As we have seen in the past few episodes, his apartment has become a clean slate thanks to Sib. With Sib gone, Gene has gone back to his original self. Locked away in his dirty (maybe smelly) apartment and focusing on his writing. Something that used to bring him joy seems to only bring him pain. Such a good scene.

Gene: Was impulsive (IMO), but realistic. He was doing what he thought was right. He felt that they were backed into a corner and reality is, Sib has money, but for how long?

Sib: Sib was right that Gene tends to care more about what others think compared to him. However, he was jumping the gun. Tam explained that it was just for them to lay low for 4 months. Understandably , who would want to quiet their relationship when it has just gotten to a good point.

Aoey: Now his story is the only one that I am not satisfied with. If anything I would be okay with a 30 minute special about what the hell he going through. I have little to no sympathy for him.

Tum: Good for him for standing up for himself.

Hin: Buddy, you deserve the world and I hope he pushes through.

Tiffy: Girl get over yourself.

Gene's Daddy: I love you!

Such a beautiful and realistic drama. Tears.

End of episode 7...that hit me. It was just so real. All of those memories he had. It gutted me to know that they will be gone.

I agree. This one seems better. However, I am wondering if episode 4 will be just like 2, with its fast paced love. Also, this character suits Nat. I always knew he could play a devilish character.

Honestly, he's living the life. I too, wish I could sleep all day and have a fine ass man cuddle and feed me.

Since they are just now casting, I honestly don't think we will get the show until the fall. Since they still have to do the workshops, blessing, and shooting. I am actually okay with that.

Ho Boem refused to take responsibility for his aftercare. Will Smith once said " “It don’t matter whose fault it is that something is broken if it’s your responsibility to fix it.”. He didn't do anything after his accident. We have all seen those stories of people who have been injured because others, but due to their hard work they are able to overcome that injury. He didn't.

This could be because he was traumatized by the incident and wasn't able to go beyond what happened. Chae Rok did say that everyone else moved on except for Ho Boem.

I am hoping for them to fully flush this story out. Because I see a lot of pain in Ho Boem's eyes and I think this bullying act is just pain and anger that he can easily take out on Chae Rok because he is right there.

Don't get me wrong, my sympathy is limited since he is a grown ass man, but I can understand where he is coming from.

Everything you said I totally agree with. I mean how would you feel if the person you are starting to get to know has basically been living a lie this entire time? I would feel betrayed. Gene is an introvert who is used to his privacy and rarely getting close to people. Nubsib coming into his life has uprooted that and he was getting used to it, Gene that is.

The last part really had me choking up. Like I was actually emotional. Great job from these two and to be honest I am okay with the way this is going.

So communication really is an issue between these couples. I mean why is it that hard to convey everything to someone you claim to have strong feelings for. Or at least be forward as to why you were out of their lives for so long.

This episode was good and it answered some of my questions, but I still have a lot more that have not been answered. Why was Shi De in the US for so long. What is going on with Shou Yi and Shen Xuan?

I'm glad this is getting a season 3 though, because I honestly don't think they will answer everything to my satisfaction on 3 more episodes.
