+1, I agree with u. The current pace is perfect fr this story. If the pace is faster than this, ppl il get more confused. Bcz it involves so many many characters n complex story . My only concern is editing, sometimes they abruptly cutting a flow of d scene. Bcz they reduced 58 to 51 episodes, dats y it lks like this ? R originally they shot like this ? Dono ?

I hv seen LOF novel volumes ( total 6 think), dono hw LOF team compressed dat big novel to 51 episodes. I read auto translated novel, which is further cut short to original I think. 12 episodes covered 50 chapters so far ( wh excluded so many parts frm d novel). Bt me loving the pace of d drama, bcz if they follow novel pace ppl il definitely get bored. So it’s al gd so far.
My post just based on my perception of novel. I watched 5 epi (viki) n YT(1) . Few dialogues r different frm Viki to YT. But they kept the Xie Yun character just like in d novel , he always brags about his handsomeness, pranks n makes funny cmnts on A’Fei. His dialogues r same in d novel. So I il watch few more episodes n cmnt on this.

If ppl who read d novel watch this one, they think it’s moving faster than novel. Novel is very slow slow paced w/ so many characters n their BG stories. How A’Fei suffered n her growth through out the journey , hw she learnt each skill n technique is so detailed in d novel.Each fight well explained with d name.
I posted last month itself. It’s totally wuxia .if ppl wants more romance then LOF is nt fr them.
Romance is subtle in this, bt it’s very natural element along w/A’Fei’s journey. Unlike other dramas/ story here v never get direct confession r routine lines. But w/o confession both leads support n suffers each other’s pain that is d USP of romance here. Girl who is tomboyish, don’t care type, says he (Xie Yun) is just friend, still suffers n fights w/ all demons to save him fr 3/4 years.First time she cries loudly in her life for (after her father ) is fr XYn shows her vulnerability too.
Coming to ML, he lks flirty, carefree guy but in deep he is so caring and longing for the family relationships n love. He loves dat girl so much that , like he doesn’t care his life n sacrifices.
Sorry fr the rant. This is d 1st C novel I read , loved it. Specially all female characters are strong n subtle love track .
I am on ep 6 ..I don't understand why li Sheng is insecure about fei...it have to be opposite bcz fei's mother…
He is just an idiot, w/o brain cells hehhe. He told to A’Fei na bcz of pity his aunt cares more abt him dan A’Fei not actual love n care. He wants to prove everyone that, he is better than A’Fei in all aspects . His ego is nt accepting all these now.
