The ending scene of ep 26 where RC forced YY to remember him, he was so cruel. Both of them are so pitiful but I think he shouldn't do this to YY. She actually wants to remember him but doesn't dare to recall the memeries because she is subconsciously trying to not to forget him. When will this amnesia plot come to an end?
The two banished gods are sooooo boring. There is no character development of them. They have been saying the same dialogues and doing the same thing repeatedly again and again. They think it's love but it's their obsession that they are holding onto for the entire 20+ episodes.
I just couldn't get into other Xianxua dramas this year and I even put on hold BFTB that has very good reviews. But surprisingly I'm into this one. I think what makes this drama interesting is the main characters. As another commenter said, ML and FL are not your typical black and white characters and I love it. They are so strong and their love for each other is admirable. They also have explosive chemistry. If CGI effects and filters were better, this could be one of this year's best costume dramas. Hoping for a happy ending for our main leads.
The story of the main leads was beautiful. I could see their chemistry in the trailer but didn't expect much because of the age gap. BUT their chemistry exceeded my expectations. Hope they can collaborate together again in a new drama. I couldn't get enough of their cute moments.
I haven't watched this yet because I'm waiting for it to end first. Came here because of a post in Weibo. Even the official platform is advertising the drama with the poster of FL and SML. Is this normal? People in comments there also seem to be enjoying this. I don't think it's fair to YY who is the actual male lead.
