Yeah. I won't also put my trust on MDL ratings anymore as most ratings of c-dramas don't fit their actual quality. I guess I should check Douban scores from now on.

It was quite interesting and exciting at times. I liked the first half more as the last few episodes were depressing and obnoxious.

Just like most people said, the first 7 episodes were beautiful. My mind was so peaceful and relaxed while watching them. After that, the drama went downhill and it became boring. But I managed to watch the whole drama to see how the story would end. I think this drama can be shortened to 13/ 14 episodes. Overall, it was a good drama with nice start and ending despite the draggy middle part. The characterization is also good. The best part is the chemistry between Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae. Their awkard interactions from the beginning episodes were very cute.

I'm not sure how they consider which kind of votes are acceptable for the drama. I also thought the stable ratings of kdramas must be related to active commenters and viewers. But this page was also very active when it was airing. And we rarely see negative reviews about this drama. It's hard to accept the rating of a masterpiece like this continue to decline within a few days.

still at 7.9 despite many fake reviews. I think MDL is using some kind of system that can detect voting manipulation? So those fake reviews and low ratings of haters do not count? But what surprises me more is that LAR lost 2 points and the rating became 8.4 to 8.2 overnight. I wonder it'll continue to drop in the next few days.

They say it's because of the new rating system but it's starting to be suspicious about the manipulation of the ratings here as Ayla Flower said. Korean dramas lost only 1 or 2 points these days but high-rated Chinese dramas get effected most. But LAR even lost so many points compared to other c-dramas.

No matter how low the rating of this drama on MDL, it will always be 1000000000/10 in my heart.

Wow. I'm surprised the rating is still 7.9 for StartUp. Even one of my favourite dramas and other dramas' ratings continue to drop because of the new rating system. For StartUp, there are a lot of negative reviews and people who give only rating 1, but it still manage to have a 7.9 rating. This means there are many people on MDL who like and appreciate this drama. Really glad to know about this!

I'm gonna watch this for Lee Hyun Wook. Loved him in Search!

Ummm did you reply to me? I already watched the ending and it was very nice. All characters got their deserved endings. In my opinion, HJP character's closure was also well done. That's why I said "If you don't want to see his proper ending and character development, you don't need to watch those episodes".

I'll say this again. I love this drama so much. Osts are also excellent. I even downloaded the whole album. Thank you StartUp team for making my days better during those dark times.

Is this drama not worth-watching in terms of plot? I mean we waited three years for this drama but I still can't start it now. One reason is I want to wait for the complete subs and another reason is I'm quite hesitant to watch it. I saw some short video clips of The Wolf on instagram and facebook but none of them appealed to me. I felt something was lacking in this drama. You also said it's an idol drama. If it is, I'll have to think again to watch it or not. I didn't wait for The Wolf as an idol drama so my expectations are quite high. I don't want to be disappointed about this.

Same. My phone storage is almost full because of LAR-related videos: BTS clips, osts and interviews and such haha.
