I think it can perfectly have a S3 but I also think the end is set to hint a s3 and also to hint that it´s ending there. I think they made it like that to have both options if wanted. But I want and need a s3.

At the end of ep 15 I felt that way too. It looks like it will have an open ending. And I feel this last enemy is way too powerful for them to take him down on just one ep. I mean they being dealing with him for quite some eps, but he still has so much power.
