An abrupt but realistic ending. I personally prefer a sweeter ending or Hao Liang's appearance at the Qixiu Grand ceremony which was attended by mother, Yibai, Yijie, and of course Mr. Gu scene as climax, but I can still accept an ending like this. I will explain why. I totally agree that they didn't go to a propose or a wedding scene, because Hao Liang is still young and still wants to achieve her dreams. From the title itself "My Special Girl" means they will focus on exploring "The Girl" namely Hao Liang towards the end of the story as a closing. I am satisfied that they explain logically and reasonably what is behind both identities. There were several times I felt short of breath because I was touched by Hao Liang's words because they were so related to myself. I love how the author developed her character and how she got her happy ending in the end. A happy ending with true essence.
As I watched this drama after finishing Song Yiren's previous work, "Different Princess," I was consistently amazed…
Thank you for your supportive comment. Yes she is always capable of building a good chemistry with all of her co-stars. Not only that, she can make her co-stars bring out the best in them.
Finally after 4 wasted episodes, they back to their initial rhythm. Episodes 15-16 are very sweet, remark the love story of two lovebirds who are just starting their first love journey. They are so innocent. This drama is perfect for relieving fatigue and stress after a long day of work and activities.
So Qing will die in the end in novel although she will go back to the real world. I think this was the scene where…
Or what if everything was like a dream, where the female lead character with full consciousness was dragged into the novel, then returned to the real world with all her memories from the novel world. Meanwhile, the male lead character apparently forgot his memories when he was in novel's world. But when he returned to the real world he remembered everything. Sound familiar? Yes, it's The romance of Tiger and Rose. Call me crazy, but I want to see a happy ending so bad. Lol.
IMHO, the deviation in original novel's plot is caused by: 1. The revelation of the real mastermind, the cause of all tragedy, the Empress. The character related to her are Secretary Du Hui. 2. Many plot holes she made on her own novel. For example, she's not paying attention on detail of Ji Chu character. So many things are beyond Qing Ge's knowledge and control. (Please add if I missed something.) Even though Ji Chu still becomes King in the end, I think Qing Ge punishment will be lifted, because of the main characters (Ji Yun, Ji Chu) changes and development. Hence she can go back to the real world.
So c-netizens posted some tid bits of the drama by clips it seems empress will order Ji Chu to kill himself by…
How do they get the ending spoiler? I've always been curious about this. Since I'm ready for all kinds of endings, I hope they can close it well, with all the audience's questions answered. A satisfying ending, regardless of sadness or happiness. Because no matter what, she must return to the real world.
what if the mastermind is just not the empress also the CP/Ji Yun. CP is a bastard son from empress & her lover,…
Interesting plot twist theory. Secretary Du Hui's death could have been on CP's orders. If true, then in the next episode we will see the transformation of CP's character, who has always been kind, gentle and polite.
Curious about the ending, series with the theme of time travel (from modern times to ancient times) or with the…
For dramas of this genre, to my knowledge, very few have a satisfying ending. Just like you, I'm also curious about the author's idea for the ending, will there be any innovation or different creativity? I'm a little hopeful because so far I'm quite satisfied with the storyline.
If you enjoy this drama, please give your rating for each episode. Hopefully, that will help improve its overall rating. Different Princess is in the top 5 shows currently airing (China) on MDL.
Because I wasn't paying attention, I guess I missed it, so they swapped the babies, right, where is the baby boy…
Oh, so that's how it is...I thought he swapped her baby with the baby of someone they knew, then killed her. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question... But then FML is innocent, she is also a victim of her uncle's conspiracy, she is a princess, the king's sister, right?
This could have been done better, this could have been the best short drama I've ever seen but yeah... they wasted it. I like the cinematography, I like the actor who plays ML, this is the second time I saw him in another short drama and I have to admit he chose his drama well. I have a question below...

2. Many plot holes she made on her own novel. For example, she's not paying attention on detail of Ji Chu character.
