You're so kind to always give me such detailed explanations.... thank you!!! Well, this definitely takes away some of the bitterness of their separation, but its still so tragic and sad. I read somewhere that the actors were dubbed and were actually saying something different due to China's censorship. Don't know if this is true, but if it is, I would sure love to know what was really said.

One more observation.... notice the ML's (reincarnated version) expression/countenance directed to Mei Ru when he encounters her in the diner and then later at the apt. Completely different, he's looking at her like "he used" to look at her when he was the prince.

Were you able to watch this with Eng Subs? I wish I knew what was being said. Also, why was 2FL beating him up?

There are some things I don't like about this drama, but what I do like is that there are no exaggerated moments, overacting, clinging, boy crazy, naïve and immature behaviors by the FL. She actually acts like a real person, not a cartoon character, which FL's in J Dramas usually act like.... which is just cringe.

I really like your response. I'm going to have to rewatch that special because I just didn't see the attraction that you mentioned, plus there weren't any English subs. However, on episode 24, the ML did say that he would basically find her again in another form, or something to the effect.
