I believe it's obvious that a royal portrait is not needed to seal Ma Wang. That's just all they know. You can probably get a divine painter to work on any portrait to seal Ma Wang. Perhaps even like a painting of a tree or a twig or anything. Also why would painting the previous king seal Ma Wang when Ma Wang is inside Ha Ram. Shouldn't we be painting Ha Ram, maybe use that painting she drew of him last week.
