Unfortunately historical dramas tend to became more sad towards the end and mostly of the dramas doesn’t have a satisfying ending but when you watch to many dramas you kind of get used to it. None of this dramas has a good and satisfying end as legend of shen li, this drama is an exception. I not saying they all have sad endings but not all happy endings are satisfying. Just keep that in mind and enjoy the ride.

In both cases they get together in the half of the drama, if i remember correctly. Good chemistry, but not too many kissing scenes. Both dramas are 10/10 for me. Literally. But I think I would watch love you seven times first. It’s so cute and funny. I love it. For good kissing scenes i would go watch love between fairy and devil or legend of fu Yao, I think. When the leads get together in this drama? At least the couple has some time as a real couple? I hate when couples never get together during the whole drama until the last episode. Just wanted to enjoy a love dovey time before shit happens.
My opinion, they shouldn’t have shortened it to 25 episodes if they’re going to keep switching focus on first…
The leads are a cat/mouse couple. Lol. What left me most disappointed was the fact that the FL only gave up on her obsession with her friend almost in the last episode and the leads didn't get the chance to be a real couple until the end because of this, basically. If this drama had at least 2 more episodes we would have seen them married for a little longer.
Episode 7. It's ridiculous how everybody blames the emperor for everything. The war that killed Qi Hai Lian father only happened because of Jie Chu Ying father. The emperor just wanted peace. His father went against the emperor's command several times and caused the death of many people. He deserved the end he got.

How did he react to FL death?
This is just your opinion about a man’s look.
We will never know if he is suitable or not until he does a drama like this.
She is annoying as hell, in both worlds.
