It surprised me because k-netizens are very petty and hard to impress when it comes to acting in historical dramas, even worse in this high fantasy genre (they used to hate it). This is the drama which is well-received in acting performances of the leads by even k-netizens, there are many k-netz articles praising LJW's stellar performance he is among their favorites now. Korean public does not really favor this genre. It's acting which makes a great impact.
