I really love the actor, so no hate to them! But what is happening with this show? All the conversations are meaningless and filled with empty words. We see them act it out, so why do they talk about it so much? There is no humor and no tension, only irritation. Episode 6 had an okay ending, but we already know Episode 7 will use a lazy 'rewind' trick. That is a cheap cliffhanger. This series is ruined because Netflix thought this was a great story 🤣😭😭😭 For future watchers: you can skip it!
I love this dark crime comedy story, and how the show is exploring how the Korean society is accepting scammers and how corrupt the government really is. The plot about stealing the 10 billion won apartment reserve fund is a great setup. Ji Sung is playing wonderful as the ex-gangster, and the comedy feels fresh and satisfying. But I feel a backlash coming up. Is this the reason why the show is not doing any big promotions, or that the media outlets are not saying or writing anything about the show? The mainstream networks are completely silent, and it is very telling. Real estate fraud is a painful, open wound in Korea right now, and the media prefers to look away when a series shows how deep the corruption actually goes.It is a very brave show that hits too close to home. Even without the media hype, the story keeps you hooked.
It does have a classic youth- second chance romance Cdrama vibe (in a good way in my opinion). No idea why users…
nice remark, thnx! for pointing it out.. I could have made my point without the comparison. I just wanted to show how much I appreciate the acting in this show.
