I expected a BL storyline, but sadly I got a complex sonata instead! Until episode 6, it had everything: friendship, competition, and narrow minded people. Especially the granddad, the mother, and Pio, who play with people's feelings just to feed their own egos. The actor who played Lee Yung did a wonderful job showing his passion and free spirit for music. But the series dropped after episode 6 and went into basic K-drama plotlines. I still have to watch the rest of the episodes, and I really hope they pick up the storyline from before episode 6 again.
Third episode started very confusing.. the timelines are probably mixed up which is making this series hard to follow. They are dropped randomly like the director is trying out a new style of storytelling... which is not working for me at this point. On the verge of dropping the series only because of this., also because of the storyline so far. Usually, the explaining is done by telling the story forward through dialogue, but the ML and FL present story is just stuck! And the second FL and ML feel like a filler-up.. I will give it 4 more episodes....

Glad to read that you are enjoying this character... In the long run, these characters are indeed written to redeem themselves. A shorter viewer would indeed just look at his appearance as hot and romantic, but the actions of this character are very disappointing to see in the long term. But hey, we have 32 episodes to go, so I will just keep fast-forwarding his scenes. The 18 episodes I've seen so far while ff-ing his scenes didn't spoil the series for me.

The concept was growth mature reflecting...In this Korean version, that dynamic will be 1000x more dramatic. K-dramas completely change the tone by emphasizing a bittersweet, painful romance filled with toxic jealousy, deep regret, and an intense inability to let go. It turns a quiet reflection into a heartbreaking emotional rollercoaster!
