To be fair you can still like a show and give it a high overall rating but not like certain scenes from said show. (Speaking from experience lol!)

Here's a rant.

Rape is bad in all shows. There's no defending it. I think most of us can agree (hopefully). But here's the thing...it's fiction. It's dark. It's definitely not for everyone. Can you still like a show that's got such scenes? Yes.
I'm saying this as someone who loves both this show and RL.
Should there be a trigger varning in the beginning of these episodes? Also yes.

(And can people also stop comparing rape scenes from different shows in the comments? It's weird. They are all bad. Pls don't defend one over the other with reasons why one is "better" than the other. 😬)

Actors just think of it as part of their job. They don't think of it as awkward believe me. It's all very clinical to them.

Both this and RL have SA/r*pe scenes. I guess the difference is that the r*pe is between the main leads in this show.

I mean...that's what actors do? It's literally their job that they get paid for. And they're not having sex for real. But I hope you know that already. 😅

For people who want spicier stuff watch the bts! Just like with RL we get some gooood stuff there 😜

I do agree that the editing wasn't very good in this episode but complaining about them not showing much in the NC scenes? People complained about this with Revenged Love as well and I feel like people are forgetting that these shows are Chinese BL's. They CAN'T show much. Don't expect much and you won't get disappointed is my advice.
