Just read the last chapter in the book to get the happy ending. It's very sweet. She looked for him for a 1000 years and then their daughter runs away. She’s being attacked by dogs then a man resues her. Guess who that man is? He takes her home which causes a scandal because everyone can tell she's his daughter. They look so much a like. SuSu comes. He doesn't know her at first but falls for her. Long story short they get married again. Ive lost track but wouldn't that be the fourth time if the dream arc counts.

Some people hate her and they are vicious about it. One person posted to me that they hated her, she's a b!tch and should die because she's nothing but a hypocrite.

What's upsetting to me is they made the male lead so saintly that it made people hate the female lead. She shouldn't be hated like that. If they made their characters closer then it wouldn't be like that. They were both grey characters with him leading toward the dark side. I read the novel after starting the drama and I never hated her because she was there to save the future but some people despise her when all she's trying to do is fulfill her mission.

People who have only watched the drama have been very rude also. Actually they have changed it so much it's almost like two different stories. The characters personalities are so different they aren't the same characters. Both can be enjoyed if they are treated as two different stories with the basic elements staying the same.

The novel has a good ending with Tantai Jin saving the world. He goes missing but is found by his daughter. Hopefully they put that into the drama if not go read the novel.

Tantai Jin is a very different person in the novel. They make him too good in the drama making people hate the leading lady when she doesn’t deserve it. He would torture people and kill them if they crossed him. Their relationship is also different. They also changed how events happened. For example Grandma did not die from poison. They just lied and said she was captured to lure out the leading lady so his younger brother could capture her. There were two brothers in the book, the older brother he killed then the younger brother is the one who came to take the throne and captured the two women. Also in the novel she replaced his evil bone and then jumped off the Tower. In the drama it doesn't make it look like she jumped but she jumped. There is also the attack of the Demon Wasp that shows that Tantai Jin wanted to kill her from the very beginning. I enjoyed the novel more than the drama.
