I had to stop watching this because of the love story. Falling in love with a student and later when said student is an adult starting a relationship with her? I don't think that's something that should be supported or romanticised, especialy when he's had such a big influence in her life as that professor has.
There are many things I love about Korea! As someone who is really interested in foreign languages I love the Korean language as it is quite unique in writing and in sound. I also love their tv shows (kdrama). I've never seen a more diverse and creative way to shape tv and kdramas have been with me through some of my happiest but also my worst times.
while this drama surely had it's flaws I enjoyed watching it immensely! the cast was pretty amazing and I never got bored, would definetly watch it again if I need something to relax that is still full of suspense. Not one of the best dramas I've watched but definitely better than most. I think it's worth giving it a shot ;)
I started this because of Park Hae Jin... Because I usually don't like to watch romance dramas. I grew to the story and the characters quickly however and binge watched the whole series. The ending kept realistic and was still a happy one, I don't know why people are freaking out over it... yes It was kind of weak but it was satisfying at the same time somehow.
What I really liked is that it isn't the typical cinderella story and focuses on interactions the characters have with each other.
honestly i dont want ok nyeo to end up with tae won. i think she might be one of the kings descendants so she…
Because female leads always end up as the supporting character for the male lead and I want a strong female character who knows there are more important things than a relationship or at lest one that won't sacrifice herself for a man, seriously there are enough female characters like that. I want actual strong ones :/
I've only watched Eps 1-3 but I love it till now! Great characters, great actors, great plot! I got nothing to complain and enjoyed every second of the first three hours of this drama! I think in contrary to a lot of dramas out there this is a high quality production.
I agree with Saiunkoku monogatari! It's a really great historical anime, loved it and would love a live action drama :) I loved Akatsuki no yona and Vampire knight... but I think it would be hard to actually bring it to life...
