Just started watching 4 days ago, still on episode 22... already head over heels for Xie Wei from the first episode. Zhang Ling He really doing the character great. I think it's the most suitable role for him. 😘

And...it's the first time i found a righteous character and a good man is so annoying, no offense for Wang Xing Yue. I liked him in SoT, but here..nope. 🤭

I emotionally drained. I can't describe my feelings after finishing watching it.
I enjoyed Hua Qian's journey of her "second chance", i cried, laughed, worried, and relieved with her, and felt proud of her strength and cleverness. For me so far she's the best FL in Cdramaland.
I felt disappointed dan grieved when she woke up only to find out all entire 28 episodes just a very long dream, even though i'd already knew about it (i love reading spoiler 😊)
I was happy she chose to wake up and face the reality and the concequences of her mistakes. That's very brave of her.
I dissatisfied with ending scene. But i understood that's the proper ending. The ending was a beginning of her real second chance. It's up to our own imagination how she and Xi Wu reached that animation extra ending.
Overall, i love this drama and will be rewatch it in the near future.
I'm not gonna lie, i watched and finished it solely because of Zuo Ye. I liked him in BFTB, i loved him in MJTY, and i expected more of him in this drama. And i think he has the potential, his portrayal of his role as The Fox Demon Emperor was great. His demeanor was mesmerizing alluring and appearance here was so beautiful, as expected from a fox demon. 😘
Too bad for me FL was so annoying and full of sweet lies. 🙄🤭 The plot just so so, the supporting characters and villains were average.
I'm glad all of them had their happy endings. Even the evil cousin too, she's lucky her husband was a good person. I feel so warm watching their New Year's Eve dinner, too bad Shen Nuo wasn't there.
But I'm not satisfied with the final scene. Was it so difficult to show Shen Nuo's face? I read somewhere in the comment that even in that scene Joseph wasn't even there, wth???😅😂 🤣
I'm glad Shen Nuo's identity was revealed partly even though I think there is more to it. Just like the others I do hope he's from the real world too.
That confession of Shen Nuo was not at the right time. He just admitted that he had lied to her for a long time, it's very understandable she rejected him. Heck, I'd be mad at her if she just accepted it. 😅
And finally, Man'er said it to You Hen. She was verbally set a boundary, poor him.
I'm not a fan of Zhang Ling He, I'm here because of Esther. But in the end, I fell in love with his portrayal of Gong Zi Yu, I enjoyed his journey to become a very capable Sword Wielder, and his character growth is gradually believable.
The ending isn't what I expected, but that's in tune with the drama which is full of a mysterious vibe.
Oh, I'm glad Jin Fan and Zi Shang got their happy ending. 😊 😍
