Tbh, i didn't find Xin Nian's unfortunate scene when he's bathing funny at all, it's a bit mean for me. I can feel his humiliation. Poor XN, then his family forgot him and now this.🙄
Just started watching today. First episode give me a very good impression, specially with Zhu Yan's introduction. Neo is surely fit as a devilish beautiful demon.
Done! Overall i enjoyed it. Just kind of light drama i need right now, sweet and fluffy. I love every musical performance, so entertaining and beautiful.
Unfortunately i'm bit disappointed with how they deal with the evil couple, that's just a slap in the wrist. They deserved to be punished more severe, like exile to very remote place or a life time prisoned.
I like this new JY. Yin is more relaxed than than his former self, more open about his feelings and thoughts. And flirtatious too. 🤭
Even though he doesn't remember a thing about his past he's still attracted to her since his first time seeing her. After all love is about feeling not memories, right ?.
Currently on episode 14, some parts are a bit off, annoying, and silly, but i still enjoy it for the two reasons : the main couple and the loyal young lord dragon.
Love their interaction, great chemistry, deep understanding, and lots of sweet scenes.
Sad that he didnt learn his lesson till the end because ML still loves him even after everything
In Yan Xi's POV the Emperor is his father figure and deep down he cherished his guidances in his childhood and he do loves the Emperor. Love is about feeling, which we can't switch easily.
Done. Easily it becomes my favorite dramas this year after The Double. ❤️
The casts are amazing, it's my 1st time watching the main leads, well i only watch costumes dramas, and for me they delivered the characters very well. The supporting characters done well too. My favorite is our dear Shao Yao and Aunt Xia.
The story line is unpredictable but interesting, except the last episodes a bit off for me, but i'm still oke with that.
Love every scenes, even the ones with the psycho Emperor. Contrary to popular beliefs i pity him, i wonder how his childhood were like for him to turn up paranoid like that.
The soundtrack are amazing too. The opening song feels so powerful, meanwhile the closing so carefree.
I'm glad i didn't watch it when it was airing, otherwise i could be crazy waiting for the updates. 🤭

Finished watching it. So far... it's my favorite drama this year. All about this drama is beautifully done, cinematography, casts, story pace, costumes, scenery, etc. I love how strong and smart main leads are, the building of their relationship, slowly but sure, how they think a like, how they trust and support each other, with a touch of understable jealousy, the mature kind of love 😍.
However there're some things i want to change : - Despite the powerful scenes of each, XH and XL's screen time together isn't enough for me. I need more of their screen time together.
- Wen Ji and Lu Ji's death...for me that's disappointing and unnecessary.
- The villain's punishment...so unfair, they should be live longer to pay for their crimes.
- The flashbacks of XL and his demented evil husband...too much.

It's obvious that both of them were in love in the 1st life, but they didn't trust and understand each other well.
Hope it'd be this interesting till the end.
PS. I dislike that SRQ, despite his innocent looks he gives me a bad guy vibes.
I like Si Mu, such a determinate girl in wooing her man. Agree with Qi An, she's way out of XN's league 🤭
I think that's supposed to be funny right ? But sometimes this kind of comedy is too much for me. Regardless i still love this drama
