He went to Vegas' house knowing what would happen to him but he did it because he's strong, loyal, and courageous. That's why he was laughing. Doesn't matter what Vegas does, Pete will win.

Pete is the only one who is not deluded by Vegas' I'm a "good guy", "friend," "love you," etc. I think he is the only one who knows how messed up Vegas is. Even Kinn and Porsche and everyone else have been fooled by him. Pete is the only one who won't fall for his games. That's why he's laughing at Vegas. No matter what he says, Pete will always see clearly who Vegas truly is.

I was hoping since the first ep they wouldn't make Big an as****, and seeing all the comments here how much they hated Big really hurt. I am super sad right now but I think that was a great story end for Big, protecting Kinn and Porsche. Totally redeemed himself, imo.
