The most basic requirement is that "what is portrayed should be true to what it is [realistic]." -I disagree;…
Perhaps the realism needs to be extended to war scenes? Show the entrails all over the ground. Show brains splattered on soldiers bodies. Volume up on the anguished screams of dying men. Show the full story of horrifying torture as someone’s teeth are pulled out. Show the vomiting, defecating and sobbing from terror. No? I thought so.
I find it more interesting that this conversation only began after the ML was found to be too incredibly attractive…
The entertainment industry is an art - not a science. Makeup, costumes, hairstyles, special effects, thrilling maneuvers. So…is everyone in China doing this? : “I hate myself because I can’t fly from rooftop to rooftop like all those actors.” “I hate myself! I don’t have glowing purple eyes!”
The arts are for our entertainment. A chance to escape the grind of daily life. Why the government feels the need to comment is a little creepy. Billions of people in China and this is what the focus is on?
When someone is an autocrat and is still sick, that's how it is, he interferes in everything and understands everything,…
“The Chinese people will NOT be seen or portrayed as ‘attractive, charismatic, entertaining, magical, or otherwise visually and/or socially appealing or desirable including hairstyles, clothing, facial features and expressions, skin color, body shape, and voice quality’ “.
This is a massive salute to NRTA for finally starting to end this ‘Idol Aesthetic’ farce that has turned our…
The current business is highly successful - commercially, financially and socially. If a successful business isn’t acceptable, then what? What happens to the music business? The tunes are too pleasing to the ear? Too “prettied up”? Paintings are too aesthetically pleasing? Too many pretty colors? Buildings are too architecturally pleasing. Shopping centers are too well designed. Perhaps returning to the spartan, stoic days of Mao Tse Tung will solve whomever’s annoying irritation with a successful, visually and aesthetically pleasing life.
So will this stop the crazed mobbing of celebrities? Of course not. There is too much money to be made from the hysteria. These companies need to put up or shut up. Take proper care of your invaluable money makers or keep doing what you’ve been doing which is nothing.
There is a chance it will be shown in US and Australia. AMC theater in US Dec. 25.
Yes, as you know, it is in US. I’m sad because I wish it was closer and showing at my local theater. Sadly for me my local theater shows Bollywood (due to the large Indian population ) but not Chinese or Korean films 🥺 Guess I will have to wait until it is released on television apps. So happy for the success though ☺️❤️👏🏻
Idk about this. As an American , I love Kdrama. It's all I watch outside of sports. But when it comes to the kind…
I am guessing this is how the Hollyweird execs think they’re going to enrich themselves. So sad because they are not the creative talent mecca they used to be many decades ago. Sorry to hear about this. I can only hope China stays far away from this idea. Although Disney …hmm… It’s all beyond our control, fans, so we’ll enjoy what we have and hope for the best.
There are weirdos everywhere in this life. What can you do? 🤷🏼♀️ I’m sure he’ll ignore it. His fans will support him and send plenty of love. Meanwhile, the dental floss obsessed person contemplates their sad life.
