The only C-Drama which I completely watched for last year of 2023 was "The Inextricable Destiny", a beautiful drama starred by Song Yiren and Wang Youshou . . .
I think my passion is on writing . . coupled with a study on Literature and Anthropology mentored by a strong-willed American Teacher.
(I worked for International Lawyers and my associates and I are following the career of Song Yiren . .)

And yes, a drama is that one which gives us some relaxation, away from the stresses of everyday life, to enjoy things without being too critical and too judgmental.

Yes, as per our personal perspectives; we came to watch this drama to be entertained and we're enjoying every episode . . .
And it is now capturing our attention since the plot is becoming more suspenseful . . We stick to know on what, when, and where that something will happen, considering the character of Ding Zeren as Ji Chu . .

Wow! Such an impression for Ji Chu! We are on the same line of thoughts. An engaging drama which totally captured our attention.
On the Ep 1 - 4, most wanted to kill him as he is such a villain, but as Ep 4 - 8 gradually moved on, it showed on some ways on why he is acting like that . . No wonder, why he is becoming the favourite character here.
Consider the funny and lovable antics of Song Yiren . . what can't go wrong? Isn't she talking to guy / girl in Ep 6-8: "I want an evil person to become good . . and I am not afraid of him"
SYR is uttering an inspirational words here for "a person is not inherently evil by themselves, (there are reasons why they are like that) only goodness can overcome an evil thoughts and desires"

I want to know what happened in the past for this Ji Chu to be acting like that - that he was branded as a villain or an evil one . . And Ji Yun to understand his brother . .
This drama, which we thought to be light-hearted to start the New Year is not becoming a suspenseful one to follow . .

I have been thinking of its genre when I saw the trailer 2 days ago and then watching its Ep 1 to 8 . . . You're so right, this drama is indeed on a suspense level. We know something is going to happen but we don’t know when or how., considering the attitude of Ji Chu, as noted an evil one or the villain here as per se . . We don't know what is in his mind.
This anxiety or tension is what keeps us engaged — we want to know what will happen next . . So, we stick on it .
