Dear Silje Olsen,

Thank you for your prompt response. I really appreciate your writings.

Yes, Try to check the "Ever Night" and I am sure you will love the storylines, that is, if you focused on it and have an objective mind as the episodes goes. . Personally, I don't want to be distracted by any written comments when I am watching a C-drama. I like to watch on my own pace and pleasure of my time. My friends from the US and those in Germany love this "Ever Night".
The female lead there, Ireine Song / Song Yiren who played the role of Sang Sang grew up and was educated in Canada. Asides from Chinese Mandarin, she speaks English and French languages very well. She is our best and practical heroine for the year . . . Ireine Song's role as Sang Sang can meant only one thing for her - that is, to be faithful to her beloved "Ning Que".

The visual effects of "Ever Night" is done by a famous American Artist and Filmmaker. His name is John Bruno who did the special effects of Titanic, Batman Returns, X-Men and other leading films . .

YouTube has Ever Night and Ever Night 2 . . It comes with English sub-titles.
As for me, I watched it through viki.com

I am writing my documents on Asian Dramas versus Western Dramas and I am selecting very carefully on what to watch on Chinese dramas - as these will be my basis to finish my hypothesis . .

Enjoy the "Ever Night" if you want to watch it . . It comes with too much emotions, if you will focused and understand its story lines very well.

Again, thank you so much for meeting you here. Take care and be safe.

Kindest regards from Canada . . .

Dear Silje Olsen,

Hello and I hope you're doing well and fine.
I am a Canadian and I am new here. My exposure to Chinese dramas are limited and I only select very few C-dramas worthy of my very busy working schedule here in Canada.
I am impressed with your writings, your words are logical and interesting. You wrote well and fine, expressing your inner feelings.

Yes, I agree that watching dramas of good values can be a healing therapy.
Movie themes can resonate deeply with people, allowing us to better reflect on ourselves and our circumstances. And sometimes, we tend to relate ourselves to the actors and actresses of the dramas that we're watching and oftentimes we identified our personal experiences with the experiences of those characters in the movies or TV series.

For this year of 2020 - I watched only "Ever Night and Ever Night: Season 2", a Chinese Epic, Adventure, Fantasy, Historical Drama Series -
And I only discovered this series at viki.com only - last March.
And then I realized that this "Ever Night", First Season won the "Best TV Drama Series" Award at Canada-China International Film Festival. Both the main actor, Arthur Chen and main actress, Ireine Song got a Best Actor and Best Actress Awards for their respective roles for Season 1. You can search this series at this site.
So far, that is only the C-drama that I am watching; that is enough for me and for me personally. To be honest, I am not looking any C-drama anymore. Ever Night is good for me.
“Ever Night” is the Chinese drama adaptation of the award-winning historical fantasy novel written by Mao Ni. Set in the Tang Dynasty, the story focuses on our hero Ning Que (Chen Fei Yu), the last surviving member of the General Lin household after a brutal massacre. He later saves a baby girl from a pile of corpses in a nearby village and names her Sang Sang (Song Yi Ren)
"Ever Night" has it all: fantasy, action, romance, and comedy, with a great acting and a larger-than-life story. And it is a C-drama worth watching for. If you have time to look for it. I can only suggest it.

Anyway, I wish you well. With your young age, I can sense a good mind of stronger attitudes on facing the realities of life, especially with the present situation of the world now. I always like to read about your Swedish culture and your beautiful people.

Thank you for sharing with us your good article. It is very informative and logical to read.
Take care of yourself. Be well and be safe.

Best regards from Canada.
