My expectations were crazy high going in because of all these reviews. It was a good show but I feel disappointed…
Since this is an exchange of views I’ll share mine. Bear with me please, this is a long one. 😉 The chemistry of the two main leads is actually subtle . Their characters’ growth were my fave to watch.
Tin started out angry with the drunk bastard kid; the numerous loops made him frustrated. Then by ep.4 (I think) it was the first time he became sad for Tol’s death because he met him already…Then he got to know Tol as a person > cold, aloof, and mean. With his effort to change Tol, he learned to love him. Now you see Tin become tender and ready to go through thousands of loop to save his beloved.
Let’s then go to Tol. He was suspicious of Tin because of his doomsday prediction.. He was a prick to his stalker childhood friend, Tin. Slowly his curiosity got the better of him because of Dr. Dear and may I dare say a bit jealous too. He started remembering the loops and trusting Tin... Then he fell in love, thus the kiss and his need of assurance from Tin. . Then his devastation for losing Tin was heartbreaking (ep10). He went through despair, hope, determination (ep10-12), then back to deep loss when his Tin was in a coma.
They went through so many changes of emotions (specially Tol), but it didn’t seem possible even until the middle of the series.. Triage for me is a good vehicle for Tae and Tee to show how much they’ve matured as actors. The last four episodes demanded a lot from Tee to deliver, or else this deeply emotional series will fail.
I liked Triage not because of the BL romance (which is sadly minimal) but because the leads developed deep love for each other. They didn’t even say I love you. Everything they did for each other testified that.
How to seduce your doctor by Tol Aekkarin Wijitkul:https://dragonsareawesome123.tumblr.com/post/689894943605637121/how-to-seduce-your-doctor-by-tol-aekkarin
The comment section on YT is way nicer and less critical than here. I see some people hating on this series yet…
What’s keeping me here is the novel, not the series. I actually get to watch about half of the episode and can’t finish it. This series is giving me a bellyache and a headache. Both due to the comical disaster I see per episode. This is the first time I’m explicitly tough on a series coz it destroyed the novel. The poor author. 😡 And I’m not dropping it so my review can be seen by curious would-be viewers. The production staff should have worked on making this series better.
no sing-gap backstory was the biggest betrayal of all time😩
I’m with you there. Sammon and the screenwriters tried to put the 2nd couple’s story as much as they can but it will come out inconsistent if it’s featured more… But Dr. Sing is a great role, most specially ep.10. Spotlight was on him in the emergency room scene. He made me 😭
that's what i was wondering too.its good to know that a majority of people didnt mind the ending so much that…
Coz episodes 1-12 were rated consistently high. A single episode will not put down the whole series’ rating. Plus it wasn’t a bust. Majority of the comments felt they wanted something a bit more but everything were wrapped up. I felt the same but I’m not going to rate ep13 an 8, let alone a 7… at first I rated it an 8.5 but later put it up to a 9. There will be low rates but not a lot. That’s why I think the rating will hold up.
Two doctors wanted to be part of the series? Gap and Dear. Frustrated actors are coming out in Sammon series.…
It’s an expression specially meant for performing. When you are in a different field of work and you love to sing in a karaoke bar, friends will tease that you’re a frustrated singer. Gap and Dear, who are both doctors, suddenly acting in a series and putting aside their profession for the time being ….. ergo the frustrated actors in them coming out. 😀
