I going to be the bitch here. Im loving this drama, and despite of loving EunWoo, he's not very good at acting.…
I agree with you.
added to that the way he walks is so stiff, I was cringing...

the awkwardness of his acting can be felt by us the audience, some people will say its the character, but there are many stoic characters performed by other actors too before, and they are not as awkward.

Well, you can't compare him to THOSE guys. They are pros. Been in the business for, like, ever. Compare him to…
Park Hyung Sik is 100 times better at 'acting' than Cha Eun Woo imo, and that guy was starting from the bottom.

Cha Eun Woo should have tried more supporting roles first before landing a lead role.

Title My ID Is Gangnam Beauty Spoiler
Just want to post my opinion:

I read the webtoon of this months ago (I really love it, Do Kyung Seok is honestly the best male hero ever, and he didn't fall for the foxy second female lead first like your usual hero, instead he expose her shady ass at first glance, and then as the time goes he still never fall for that foxy soo ah, very intelligent male lead)

Then I watched the first 2 eps of this drama adaptation, its okay so far for the story, though it has more filler now, everything is fine except for... Cha Eun Woo as Do Kyung Seok! Omg even the way he walks is so awkward, and stiff (he could pass as a real robot instead of Seo Kang Joon's Nam sim character). I feel like I'm the only one who thinks like this but that dude is making me cringe with his acting!

He is a pretty face indeed but even in that particular area he didn't give the vibe of Kyungseok from the webtoon. Isn't the guy supposed to be the fierce looking, classic handsome type? Idk how to describe it well... manly, and serious looking? this guy looks too pretty and flowery, but really looks aside, I was seriously trying to judge him from his acting, since I love this webtoon character of Kyungseok so much (he is like one of my top 2 webtoon hero ever, along with Winter Woods) but I'm really dissappointed with this, and feels like Kyungseok has been wronged.

No offence to the drama kyungseok lovers, it's my opinion that he could be played by a better actor :(

Yes, people should wear what they feel makes them confident the most, I know there are people who feel confident and pretty with hijab on, I agree we shouldn't judge people both ways!

Indonesian's food are delicious, hehe, I recommend gado-gado ^^

Title Miss Hammurabi Spoiler
i saw the hijab and burka portion of the episode, and honestly, that was so unnecessary. yes, unfortunately, some…
"One of the many reasons why is because in this society, people are judged by the way they look; their body shape, the size of their booty etc lol. wearing hijab allows people to not judge by the way i look, but by my intellect, my mind, my personality, morals etc. they think beyond the surface."

No offence, but people will judge you no matter what, that's all we people do. People even judge themselves... it's human nature. I would honestly rather stay true to who I am and let people judge me for who I am honestly.

You can still be intelligent, and confident, charismatic whatsoever without hijab... people who see others from their bodyshape, booty and etc, especially if you mean certain sexist type of men... they may be pigs. Even if you wore hijab they would still be pigs lol, I would rather just be myself then change myself just to cater to some pigs i don't care the opinions about. Not planning to start a war, I'm a muslim women myself from Indonesia who prefers not to wear hijab by the way :)

The premise is intriguing for a k-drama, and it comes from OCN, my most favorite drama channel, I'm definitely adding this to my watch list

what's Im Yoon Ah acting like in other dramas?
From what I see she's usually very stiff and has limited range in expression, but some people said she improved in K2 tho (I haven't watched that one yet)

The nice guy type of leads is usually the second lead in most dramas which cause us the second lead syndrome most of the time lol, it's nice that this new trend focuses on such lead more as the first lead than your typical tsundere male lead who will warm up later concept, it's a fresh concept that the male lead are smart and whom is the one who made the female lead gradually fall for him by realizing his feelings first instead of vice versa

Such leads are pure perfection, but sometimes they're too perfect which can lead to our increase in ideal male standard lol (and they're unrealistic too) but well it's just a drama after all, a fantasy world.
