Actually his behavior makes more sense in the book cause he was actually forced to take the job by Kinn by making him loose 2 jobs & for his uncle's debt Kinn tries to take away Porsche's home.. He was in rebel mode coz it was completely against his nature to take up such a job where he is put in danger everyday n also cant see his brother..
