To all people who are asking, 'Does the series have sad ending? Yup, it has a sad ending' It can be understood from the summary & also from the title.. But is the series a sob fest, i would say no.. Every episode is beautifully written, many say its not a BL but i disagree, in the series 2 boys fall in love with each other, have a relationship n tht is enough to call it a BL.. A definite, must watch series.. Just loved every moment of it..
Now that the series is over i feel that i will miss seeing them ever week.. The love, the friendship, the message in the series was good.. Yes its a slow drama n I'm very happy that i was watching it episode by episode or else i might not have watched it in 1 go after it was completed..

Most of the people were saying its just Earth crying.. But didnt anyone see the love n connection between Cake-Eiw, a person can only wish & long to have a friend like that who will not only be there for you but also be a support. Eventhough Eiw had only chance at being support to Cake (during his breakup), he did it beautifully..
I dont understand why people have problem when other's show emotions.. Eiw cried when he was sad, smiled when he was happy, didnt lose optimism when he wa hurt by someone else, showed a brave front when Cake was leaving..
This series has captured love & friendship very beautifully.. I usually skip interactions between friends in many series because its as if they are being forced to act as friends but in this series CakePeatTaPalm's interactions were so good i didnt feel like skipping..
The moment the woman told Nhai to stop dating her son, the first thing i thought Nhai should do is take tht dumplings n dump it on her head n tell her she has a daughter n not son, B****...
Even though its supposed tto be a spin off of TonhonChonlatee the story is so different, AiNhai were stayin with Tonhon n hadnt revealed their relationship to him for many years in TC.. Their characteristics r also different.. Only names seem to match.. N in this series Ton n Chon r stayjn in same location..
Many people here are criticizing Nhai but he is a goofball from starting itself n has had an extreme behavior with his friends always.. He thought he was straight n all of a sudden he finds tht he slept with his friend from same sex, eventhough knowing tht friend had a crush, anyone is bound to be paranoid.. Eventhough Ai told Nhai tht he has always liked Nhai, he will be hyper thinking tht their relation wont last long.. N his over active mind will keep on some or the other stupid things but its good Ai loves Nhai so much tht he will keep on explaining n clearing issues..
The movie was good but yes some of the magic was lost from the series.. It was ok if they didnt have intimate scenes in the series but lack of intimacy cannot be justified in this movie.. they declared their love to each other, moved in together n also got married but it was as if they aced in chemistry but failed in biology n it felt a bit less n incomplete.. There were so many scene where lack of intimacy shined like a beacon, especially the scene where they supposedly kissed..
I loved the series but seriously the ending was dumb n could have been different.. The alt ending i thought was Ji hoo saved the kid n went to future with Jae Woo..
Its not,as if JW life stops at tht point he has to now continue living with memories of unrequited love..😪😪
