The original novel is actually quite good, written by a famous author. it's about investigating and solving crimes in a satirical way. The character TXW plays is a reckless, inexperienced but very dedicated police officer. This is more of an art house film, so it's going to be quite difficult to watch. I understand if it's not your cup of tea.

And people cheat for no reasons? This drama is exploited from the villain's perspective, basically like a guide to recognizing bad people and toxic relationships. If you watch it with an open mind I think it will help gain a new perspective. If you think it's just a drama with cheating & you don't think it has any values, then you can skip it.
Ml is Xin Yunlai but Xiwei has lovelines with many people tho, this feels like an ensemble cast where every character…
In the original novel the MFL is considered a playgirl as she's in multiple relationships at the same time. The author of the novel said the drama made some lighter changes so her character may be a bit different here, still messy but less awful I guess lol.
Love the acting & chemistry in this video, am I the only who actually liked He Zhinan and Gaopeng when they're together? It's a shame long distance & bad communication got in the way. Or simply because most of the relationships in this drama are calculated I just have a soft spot for the genuine ones (while it lasts) lol.
I'm back to this page after awhile, glad to see more people looking forward to the show 🥹 The videos the production posted on douyin and the second trailer blew me away, they filmed so beautifully and the cast's acting party is chefs kiss. Weiwei made me emotional with her crying as always, she's gonna have lots and lots of angsty scenes here and I can't wait. So proud of my girl🥹 I've never been more hyped for a drama. I hope you can enjoy the show with an open mind, not every show has to be told through rose-colored glasses.

It tells a story with the main focus on the anti protagonists, it's not for everyone. If you're uncomfortable with it you can skip, Xiwei used to say she's not intimidated to take controversial roles and she wants to challenge herself. I believe this drama will bring some meanings to life and reflect the cruel reality, where people take advantage of feelings & relationships for their own calculations. The original novel was rated highly so I do think lots of "sane" people will watch it.
