I dont know that Canadian Criminal Code is the standard of law for the whole world? Are you actually Canadian? I dont think the conflicts in Canadian domestic politics, stagnant economic growth and also the significat increase in criminal rate can validate Canada as the role model of governance policy and law? So, perhaps you should read and get to know more on whats going in the rest of the world and in the broadest perspectives - not just your tiny and narrow understandings of the world. But, all in all we shouldn't debate on taste..hahaha..anyways, on the topic of this drama, i think it is quite good enough to watch. Though not so much to a level waiting anxiously on its latest release in each upcoming week.

I think this drama represents the inner fantasy of women in Korea to have younger men as a lover or partner😁😁😁 If between a rather older ml and younger fl, somehow some loud netizens start to sneer and question the age gap. But not the way around. Ain't it funny? If the 43 yo me date 22-25 yo woman, I am a pervert but when it is the way around netizen will call it true love. So western😁 While in real life in most parts of the world, men marrying younger women is very common.

Like i said, QoT is doing great business wise. The curiosity was already built for the audiences through its 12 episodes. The last 4 episodes, they choose to make a 'controversial' choice that initiate a kind of love hate effect on the audience. It built up the momentum and people's curiosity. Understandable business move. Did they have to make it this way to garner more rating? I dont believe so. But well that was a simpler way to do it. Make ML the biggest victim of a crazy villain with series of illogical murder attempts and in the end all the villain get the worst that they possibly deserve and the couple live happily till death do their part. Its just me though. Because i look and expect more from a drama especially with that kind of cast.

I agree that there are many touching scenes in QoT. But for its current rating, I expect more than touching scenes here and there. It should be bind into a great plot that made sense to the audience yet still romantic and touching.

If QoT were made with a better plot, then their current rating would be acceptable. I know the overall concept of QoT was better than WWSK and perhaps DoTS but the execution esp.in the last 4 episodes were so bad that for me it really killed the drama. I mean if you see QoT rating at 8.8, it is below meet yourself and moving. So, I expect the more or less the same quality overall from those high rating drama - regardless the differences in genre.

You are My Glory, Descendants of the Sun, or even What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and many other dramas should rate higher than QoT or at least getting better rating they were deserving. QoT marketing and business strategy win the rating, definitely not because of the quality of the story as a whole. Even the happy ending was so predictable and lost its beauty they were trying to craft. I dont know what happen with the production team or why they make those kind of plot for the last 4 episodes. QoT could have been one of the best drama ever. The cast is great though - the damaging plot have only highlighted the cast performance as the #1 factor why this drama is successful - side from its business/marketing strategy.

Proven plotline to capture viewer curiosity towards the end. With absurd plotline and crazy obsessed villain, people need to see the hero won the fight. Just like when you watch hero movie. So corny yet proven. And they did it after 12 episodes left with 4 more. I might hate it but from business stand point it worked out great.

The last 4 episodes made me feel like I'm watching soap drama from 20 years ago. So predictable and badly crafted. I believe the writer was stupid and lazy enough to actually took the successful plot from that time. Well still the production team manage to break the viewership number. So in business perspective they succeed. I guess there would be this kind of stupid plot in the dramas to come.
