For a xianxia drama with just 32 episodes, they wrapped up the plot really well. The leads had amazing chemistry and delivered strong performances.
The ending wasnât exactly too happy or tragic it was just the right kind of ending for the story they told. The villain was also written with depth, and I still canât believe thatâs Wu Jinyanâs husband he looked great and nailed his role here.
I really enjoyed how the story balanced between the heavenly realm and the mortal world. With more episodes, we probably wouldâve gotten an extended ending, and I think more people wouldâve come to appreciate the full arc.
A solid 10 from me I truly hope the leads reunite in another project somedayđ .
