I love this drama, don’t get me wrong, but there are a lot of people who seems to hate this drama, and MDL criticism…
The first time I added this drama to my watchlist, it had a high rating, with only two top reviewers giving it a 10. However, I can’t find those reviews anymore.Possibly because it's not just a rom-com and includes a timeslip element that might not sit well with everyone. Interestingly, "King the Land," which isn't rated as highly, actually has more positive reviews compared to this one. I also looked into the writer’s previous work, which also received a lot of criticism and isn’t rated highly.
I quite like this drama so far but I’m puzzled by how one comment got 43 likes when the show has been off the air for a while. It seems strange that comments are still getting so many likes, especially since it’s mostly the same users who’ve been around for a long time. Some comments are also getting close to 20 likes, which seems odd. It’s making me wonder if there might be bot accounts involved, because this all feels a bit suspicious.
was the show advertised as more than a romcom or something? because some reviews seemed that they expect something…
It was marketed as a time travel drama too , but the reviews and ratings would have been significantly lower if not for the cast included and their performance.
"Pardon me, but I wasn't asking why the ratings are high. Most romcoms tend to have high ratings. As I mentioned, let's wait until we've watched more episodes. If people don't like it, the ratings might go down, but if they do, the ratings could stay high or settle at a medium level."
I don't want to sound mean because I know everyone has their own opinions, but could we ease up on the questions about why the show has high ratings? There are only two episodes out so far, and there are still 14 more to go.
Many dramas start with high ratings but might not maintain them if the story doesn’t hold up or if things change as the show progresses. Final ratings usually depend on how the entire series unfolds. I'm just a bit worn out from the constant discussion about ratings.
I've just finished watching episode 14 and I have a question. How did Haein have a BRAIN surgery and got out of…
The doctor mentioned its not OPEN BRAIN SURGERY but the method used was Laser ablation brain surgery, also known as laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT), uses heat from precisely focused lasers to treat epilepsy and remove brain tumors. So ur question has been answered.
Jin Mai was a child actress. She was picked by the producer or her acting skills and her excellent speech. I love…
Wow, that's amazing! I don't know much about her, I enjoyed her performance here and plan to explore her other dramas as well. I'll watch the Bonus episode tomorrow. I agree, he's funny and really protective of PWX, he's definitely my third favorite character. Both main leads were absolutely phenomenal ❤️🔥.
While watching TPR , I found myself completely immersed in the drama and the undeniable chemistry between the lead actors. Despite some viewers not enjoying certain aspects, and I agree that some of the last episodes were a bit annoying, I still loved the show overall.
I also want to highlight how much I enjoyed the character TONG YE. The supporting characters added charm to the story.
Moreover, the political elements of the plot were far from boring for me. I found them quite intriguing and they added an additional layer of complexity to the narrative.
I thought the male lead's acting was incredibly natural, and the way the female portrayed her flawed character was convincing. I looked up her age and was impressed to see how young she is; her acting really stood out to me.
Overall, despite any criticisms, I believe the drama was well-acted and engaging, and I look forward to seeing more from these talented actors in the future.
Romcoms can surely be criticised but criticising a rom-com for being a rom-com is clearly not a criticism. Also…
It's important to recognize that criticism comes from a variety of perspectives and experiences, not solely from those deeply entrenched in a particular genre. While some may critique romcoms without being die-hard fans of the genre, their opinions shouldn't be dismissed solely on that basis. Evaluating a show's quality and coherence isn't contingent on personal genre preferences alone. Furthermore, constructive criticism often stems from comparing a work to broader storytelling standards, not just its immediate genre expectations. Discussions about themes like mental health or character depth can enhance any narrative, including romcoms, by adding realism and emotional depth. Such critiques aim to enrich storytelling rather than detract from genre conventions. Right now, we seem to be Debating but let's take a break from this thank you.
Besides i understand your point here , for example a user commented about another drama not getting the same ratings as this drama, which is not right and i do not support comparison. I think i have seen some comments where some people replied back to those constructive criticism.

Criticism of a Rom-com based on its genre is valid as it allows for evaluation within the context of established conventions and expectations. Furthermore, suggesting alternative plot developments or outcomes can be constructive criticism aimed at exploring the potential for deeper character development or narrative complexity within the genre's framework. Effective criticism should consider both what is presented on screen and the possibilities left unexplored, encouraging a richer analysis of the film's storytelling choices and thematic depth.
Thank you for your comment. I'm currently watching the drama. Please use the spoiler box for any details about the killer, as it could spoil the experience for those who are still watching.
Regarding FLs in Kdrama's, they are often unfairly disliked for various reasons, which I don't support in this case either as I don't dislike the character here.
I'm aware that some users dislike or even hate the drama, i suggested in less engagement to avoid unnecessary arguments as I mentioned before.
My comment about comparing it to QOT was seen by the user; they have since deleted it.
