Well, I cannot say it's a happy ending but it's not bad ending. It's like an ending we waited for. Lol
Oh yes it is! Practically, all of the leader's comrades died. Besides, this show has a lot of action and romantic scenes. At the end, they didn't win against the japanese, they just won the first round. It was like an open ending, that they will keep fighting in order to achieve Korea's independence. This drama is a great combination of genres. It has it all. Highly recommended.
