Exactly, there has to be a reason for Heijuu's existence; what if the female lead turns out to be the antagonist? And she knows that Taeoh is a smart guy, which is why she's using his feeling, remember Heijuu's line? She only loves herself.
I can guarantee that if the director shoots just one passionate kiss between Taeoh and Huiju, the ratings will return to where they were before episode 5 and 6.
Only with a few clips and some comments here I ask myself: Why would anybody want to watch this drama?
Reason 1. We were all shipping ML with 2FL, but in the most recent episode, he kissed the FL. Reason 2.FL's acting is terrible, she is a walking red flag + gold digger. Reason 3: The plot is becoming increasingly complex and disorganized. Reason 4: The love triangle is a mess: ML likes FL, 2nd ML likes FL, FL likes ML but marries 2nd ML, 2nd FL loves ML, but ML is so blind that he cannot see her love for him.
I never know I would skipped a kiss scene that fast again after Start-Up 😅
