I agree with those two suggestions. I Dropped Strange tales when the love interest got on my nerves…nothing wrong with love and all..we need, need, NEED it but……

Whilst am VERY open about LGBT+, I am rather disappointed that you can’t have a mainly male cast without it being considered a BL or whatever. This would also be the same as the fact that I get cross when a love interest is insert when it’s really not necessary or unrealistic!

It’s a great show and frankly if the two leads were in a love relationship I think it would ruin the show..

Ten great episodes so far..fingers crossed for the rest..

Don’t get me wrong, it was good, they left it open…and now that I have seen the extra 5 minutes, it even better but the romance aspect was annoying…I would have liked them to leave it vague and for her to just do her job! Friends first then guardian with her crushing on him …
Still one of the most satisfying dramas of late.

I loved this and like everyone else, wished Wuxin was in it more…he was just ‘yah’.. I didn’t like the love interest for Se..she was not ‘enough’ in my mind for such a talented bright man. She basically bullied him into a relationship..his weakest character flaw for me.
Overall a good 9..not sure I liked the ending but the novel must have been better.

Why is it that most cdramas (historical anyway) have such terrible endings….

I just don’t get it…..it seems her trust is firmly with the douche bag second lead who is so creepy, scheming and just vile. Not the the ML is any better…Has she even asked any REAL questions of either of them? She is NOT smart but delusional…and that poor child…she used him and the men are using him now too!
The whole drama is one ridiculousness to another….it not even angst because it so badly written….to me it had the premise of a good drama but…
I will come back and ask someone to spoil me once it ends😡😩😂😱

Exactly Jokers!! If the novel is this bad then why was is made into a show…it’s so bad it’s 🤮, but I too am curious and have lack of historical drama to watch (I only watch the costume ones) that isn’t a gazillion episodes 😀

Is it me or does anyone else feel really creeped out by Song’s persistent behaviour of taking advantage of Miao whenever she is drunk!
This and his stalker behaviour has completely got me routing for the main lead.🤮🤮

This might be one of those shows that might be best watched once the series has been completed…it may make more sense… still as everyone has been pointing out..editing sucks royally…..script is not half bad…none of the characters are hugely annoying like some other dramas (often FLs)..so can’t complain too much but I will shelf till it’s done and decide…sad..I like both the ML and FLs!!
