Wishing death (by suicide or otherwise) on someone is wrong, we can agree on that. What you have to keep in mind…
Addition to this: you can clearly see his apology isn't directed towards his victims, but rather to his fanbase and people who work with him (you could read people who help his fame). He seems to be very full of himself, as he is the main topic of this letter. Not what he did or who he hurt, but him and what this news coming out does to him.
Wishing death (by suicide or otherwise) on someone is wrong, we can agree on that. What you have to keep in mind though, is that growing as a person is a possibility, not a guarantee. Not everyone who grows in age grow up in mentality. Not everyone matures. 14-15 years old is an age where the basis of who you are is normally already there. I am not saying he is still a bully. What I'm saying is that, if nothing is done against bullying and the bully gets away with it, the behavior can stick. If you combine the bullying with the rape accusations, you can see a want for control (because that is what bullying and rape is most often, a fight for control), which is disturbing to say the least. Without psychological or psychiatric help, this behavior won't disappear. Lastly, maybe the victims were inspired by other alleged bully-victims to come out and stand up against their bully. How scary it must've been for them to confront an idol gaining popularity, having his first ever main role.
