Best xianxia according to me is TMOPB or ELOD. After than Tencent hasn't done much in Xianxia . The last Immortal is their main experimental project and it worked for them even with pretty much low budget compared to other mentioned dramas. LYF is heavily promoted by Tencent & they have placed high investments on some of those actors in future. But TLI already stole the limelight from LYF. TTEOM will be remembered always for the role of Tantai Ji & Luo Yunxi stand out performance. Zhao Lusi is also very good in The last Immortal, considering it's her doest Xianxia ever. I guess meltdown of most people here The last Immortal getting the final limelight of 2023 . Well ,that was the plan of Tencent. The last Immortal was scheduled for 2024 ,they suddenly decided to air pushing back several dramas. It worked and TLI is doing very well. You can dim it's shine by adding negative comments in MDL .

No matter how much you try to belittle the drama the fact wil remain that TLI is very good with the available budget and if anyone who is broken so be it. Zhao Lusi did it in low budget while your faves needed heavy budget + personal investment+ heavy promotion to achieve more or.less the same result.

Not very impressed with LYF . MJTY is good with its plot . TTEOM is very good with CGI but it's top production. That LiSusu Sect - set in Hengdian is built with a heavy budget and is being reused atleast in 7-8 dramas . There is no comparison between TTEOM and TLI budget . I'm a big fan of TTEOM. But TLI is damn good with the avilable budget . The plot anyways is different and entertaining. TTEOM is all about Luo Yunxi. But you can't expect Wang a new comer to give a Luo Yunxi type perfomance. TLI runs on Zhao Lusi.

Yes ,that's what I said TLI is very good 👍 because I have seen many Tencent Xian xia . You can say with TLI Tencent has greatly improvised. 🥰 Lusi acting is anyways good.

I believe her company is the problem. I didn't want to say it directly so mentioned in round about way . I don't like the way her company is handling things for Lusi specially when it comes to dramas.

I liked the CGI , execution is also not the problem. Tencent Xianxia always follows this style and I'm not surprised here. I'm a Lusi admirer . I'm not making stuff to deny anything. If it's bad , I will say it . My comment is about her future dramas. This is her first Xianxia and I'm sure she will do many in future. I expect better or high scale than this for her future dramas. It's a feedback i wanted to share with Zhao Lusi fans for a long time. I expect a big positive change from 2024 for Lusi . 🙂🥰

Also it's my personal observation, but I feel Lusi deserves a lot lot better for her talent. Not saying TLI is bad ,it's very good. In 2024 i would.like to see her in some high profile dramas . I mean Lusi deserves it . Her talent and popularity shouldn't get wasted . I believe Pearl curtain is very good .

Yes , Xianxia is done differently between Iqiyi/ Youku / Tencent. Personally prefer Tencent, so I really like TLI.

That's why it was high budget . TLI is good budget & it's a good drama. I was praising Lusi . Hope you get it .

Hidden Love was low budget but made good profits.

Most S+ quality dramas either has funding from lead artists themselves. For lusi dramas, there is no such huge investment. You can see all three dramas of lusi in 2023 are low budget compared to other dramas. TTEOM etc had even huge promotion budget. TLI is very good if you compare the investment done on other xian xia dramas.

I can understand the mentality a viewer who just adds comments like trash in MDL.

Zhao Lusi is a natural actress . This is her first Xianxia and she has done exceptionally well in this genre too. Zhao Lusi is Best talent of cdrama .

There is no ugliness or cheapness in this drama and it is one of the recommended dramas of Cannes Festival. That shows the high level of standard of this.drama. Your opinion is not better than the selection jury to Cannes.

If you call others drama a trash ,we have every right to call your drama a trash too. It's obvious that you are an ALP fan. ALP faced critisism doesn't reasons ,low quality was one among them . I decided to skip that drama because I didn't like the treatment of that drama at all. Eternal love of Dream is of low production but it made most profit for Tencent while it aired and its one of the best xianxia ever . Even TMOPB is of less production quality but these dramas are epic in terms of acting ,story , cast etc. TLI has better quality than these dramas . The story and acting of the cast is also superb.

Saw weibo poss where dubbing artists have validated Zhao Lusi voice qualities in The last Immortal. Her voice is extremely cute as a water beast . In Hidden Love her cute voice made the character believable. It set the mood for Duan Jiaxu's care & concern towards cute & adorable Sanghzi. Can't imagine a Sangzhi with serious voice . But you can have your opinion.

I'm not any one artists fan. But I do like Lusi dramas mainly because she is a good actress. Her acting is top always.
