At first, I thought this short was pretty silly. But as it progressed, I became immersed and interested in their conversation. I like that it was one continuous shot in the same location. That made it easy to really focus on the actors and their conversation. I personally liked the soft music in the background. I thought it complemented the short well. And I was surprised by the emotion and acting when August was confessing him feelings. The actor did a good job of portraying his emotions. Although… with that ambiguous ending, I’m not sure what to think. Did August simply wish that the conversation would proceed like that and that’s how it played out in his mind? Was this a teaser for a full series? Hopefully we’ll get some clarification.
This was a really great drama. Normally, I don’t watch military genre, but something was pulling me to this show and I’m glad I watched it. Some of the storylines were predictable but the acting was really top notch. Definitely the highlight of the series. I didn’t know of the two main actors coming into this, but I really fell in love with them. They had really great chemistry together, which ended up being one of my favorite things about the series. Also, the OST was amazing. Made certain scenes feel that much more emotional and raw.
This drama definitely deals with serious and heavy topics, so please be aware of that before you decide to watch. The last episode hits pretty hard, and has an open ending. I wonder if we’ll get a season 2, but if not, the series can stand just fine on its own as is.
I really liked this special episode. I feel like it gave viewers just enough of a taste to be excited about the actual series and where it will go. I thought the premise was cute if not unique or different. Two guys on a vacation trying to mend their broken hearts. They meet, become attracted to one another, and have a drunken hook up. But what makes this good is the chemistry of the two actors. They take the storyline to a higher level. I also appreciated the music they used in the episode. All the songs worked for the scenes they were used in and really enhanced them.
Can we talk about how handsome Chahub is tho? My goodness. I’m sad that this was postponed but this little taste makes me look forward to the full series even more.
I stopped keeping up with this after the writers quit because of controversy and now they’re changing production companies or something? I’m so confused lol. But I’m glad it seems that some version of KinnPorsche will get made. I know something is coming out on the 29th. I can’t wait to see if it’s a new trailer or just news about the changes.
This is one of my most anticipated BL’s, even more so now because I just finished watching ToL. While I didn’t like ToL in general because of Khai (Off’s character) and the general plot, I think OffGun had some really great chemistry. Hopefully the plot and characters of Not Me will give them an even better chance to shine and truly show off their acting. I have high hopes for this because of OffGun and the unique plot.
